Really like your reviews. Really helpful for someone from the southern hemisphere. We see all these beautiful northern yarns but are never sure how they knit up or wear. Love that you show projects in the yarns you review.

I wonder if my sample ball of this yarn is just weird. I find Drops Nepal to be extremely prickly, almost antagonistic. I didn't think it was at all similar to Drops Lima (also one sample ball), which I was able to use without issue and which doesnt have the spiky quality that my ball of Nepal has. I remember being really disappointed in the difference because the fiber content was so similar and it's from the same company.

I love yarn reviews! I've used Drops Nepal for the Little Twigs Sweater and I've just finished the Step by Step Cardigan by Florence. I really like the yarn and am planning to knit more with it. Thanks for the podcast, I found it so interesting.

I'm glad you liked it! Nepal sounds like such a great fit for the Little Twigs Sweater - that yoke texture would pop so well :)

If you can't wear a pullover inside, yoi have to turn the heating down 😂😂😂😂😂. Norwegians above the polar circle are too rich in heating...

Lovely, soft yarn. I can use it next to my skin, and it feels like I'm wearing merino.
My sweaters knit in Drops Nepal is pilling a lot. A few minutes of maintenance is necessary after two og three times of use. The pilling is easy to fix, so its OK.

Thanks for your drops review. I'd like to knit the peacock sweater or top for summer. Which drops would you recommend ? 😊

I love the peacock patterns! I'm not a huge summer top knitter but I'd say Drops Belle might be best suited for the peacock top. For the sweater, I think Drops Air would be really nice, but it might be a bit warm for the summer (depending on where you live) :)

I disagree about the softness. It can be prickly. I don't have any issues and I like to wear my sweater, as I think I'm not particularly sensitive. But I can imagine for some, it would be too much.
It does peel yeah. More precisely, my sweater kind of peeled suddenly after a few months of wear. But a good razor session later, it's fine.
I would definitely knit with it again. I love the dense, a bit stiff, cozy sweater I ended up with.
Thanks for the review, can't wait for the next one 😊

That's a good point - it might be because I don't really have issues wearing wool against my skin (except for very rustic yarns like Lettlopi). I'm glad you liked the review :)
