I ordered Drops Yarn from Laughing Hens, in the UK and if you're looking for bougie yarn on a budget, check out these cotton and wool yarns. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced crocheter looking for high-quality yarn at a great price, I've got you covered! All the yarns I purchased were 30% off regular prices at the time of purchase plus I applied a 10% off welcome coupon for signing up for their emails. The postage to get from the UK to the Midwest US was $12.89 and it took about 12 days after I ordered to receive my package.
My product total was: 36.92 with shipping at: $12.80 for a grand total of: 49.72 to get 24 balls of yarn from the UK to the Midwest US.
I apologize AGAIN that I cannot locate an invoice!!! But if you average the price divided by the number of ball of yarn it is $1.54 per (50G) yarn ball. If you want to factor shipping in, it's $2.07 per (50G) yarn ball. This is all in UD Dollars. But again, I'm almost certain I paid around .79-.89 for the Paris cotton yarn!

Pretty much all yarn comes in 50g balls here in europe except half the sockwool and almost all chunky yarn comes as 100 or.150g.
Its.good because dont have to have 40g leftovers on every sweater and tshirt. Its bad because you have more knots/ ends to sew in. Its even better if youre using 3-6 colours in your garment.
I can definitely see both the pros and the cons!

I’ve started my first project using the Paris and I’m really enjoying it so far! I’m glad I gave it a try 😃
Drops safran is great to work with so is belle fine merino also drops yarns overall I’ve been pleased with. I know some find it controversial due to patterns being very similar to certain designers love working with drops yarn especially as I’m on a budget.

I finally have a day off where I can get caught up on your videos! Well, I personally was kinda disappointed that it wasn't Muskrat yarn lol We do have muskrats in SE Iowa; they've done some damage to our pond at the hospital. Those are beautiful yarns, and you always look so cute!

Drops used to be my favourite yarn but lately the quality has gotten much worse.
