I'm so glad you got to do the voice workshop. I did one in England which I think incorporated similar themes to the one you were on. It was called the Naked Voice. Like the one you were on, it was nothing to do with performing. I think it was one of the scariest things I've done, as well as one of the best! ❤️

I'm just taking my time as well today. We just got back last night from a a visit with family and a long drive. My body feels beat up from sitting so long in a car. I have always loved to be a lone although I don't get many chances.

I like your videos and the beautiful rebuild of the house! One thing comes to my mind and I must ask. The open fire stove, are you using it for heating or just because it is nice? If you are using it just because its nice, thats fine, if you really want to heat your house with it try to get one of the converters (yes you can still see the fire and enjoy it) that will get you a huge lot more heat in the house! I have no clue what the product is called in english but in swedish "spisinsats" or do an image search for "spisinsats öppen spis", they are a bit costly but is worth it if better warming and less wood consumption is wished for, can sometimes be found second hand for an ok price. (Yes, Im also an offgrider, but not fulltime at my cabin, yet).
Hello Moongooat 😃 Excellent question! I actually talk about it in the video from about minute 33:00, if you are curious. We have looked for a spisinnsats 😄 But the fireplace is so oddly shaped. It goes inwards, kind of like a 🔺 We found ONE innsats that could fit in there, but it was very, very small 😂 Stay tuned for what we will come up with. Hej! I often have difficulties just sitting down and taking my time when Im alone at Siskola, which is most the time. There is just so much to do and I always feel pressed with time. It is a bit easier when the boys are there with me because I can’t work as much then. I have a restless spirit so taking time to enjoy the surroundings is not easy. You are lucky to have some one like Julian that also enjoys being in the countryside and together you can get so much done. My partner has never been to Siskola. He is not fond of the country side and wont come there before there is inside plumbing and hot running water. That will be never. 😅 Luckily he looks after the boys when Im alone there. I love the commode! I will have something similar in the bathroom under the sink when the time comes. I did the same mistake with the flower bulbs. Got a little carried away in the shop an bought way too many! 😂 You should get a wooden stove to heat the house. They are much more effective for heating than the open fire. I have an old Högfors one but it’s not attached to the chimney yet. The open fire is probably from the 70s or 80s when they became popular. I have on too, next to the very effective “rundugn” but will remove it since its not good as a heating source. That voice workshop looks amazing! Would love to attend something like that one day. Admiring, is the right word!) I dare you to go to Siskola and take a whole day off! Do whatever you need to tell your body, that there's no rush ❤️ Maybe invite your partner on a date there, where you don't fix anything - just spend time together. I don't know, tell me if you come up with something. I think you deserve this feeling of freedom and pleasure. @@AnnieJulian I have two boys that are 3,5 and 7 years old. Im so glad you like my Instagram. Most of my pictures on Instagram are picture of an abandoned farm and everything that was left there. Time stands still there in a peaceful and little eerie way. Thats probably why it looks so mysterious. 😄 Im not that active on IG as I should since I always forget to take still pictures and upright videos when I film my videos . I focus mostly on documenting the process on youtube. All though I have done som photography before I only use my phone for filming and taking pics now. I also forget to film myself from time to time talking to the viewers. You have a great touch with that. To connect with the audience. My videos come out once a week. Filming and editing is a new skill that I just started learning but I really enjoy it. I really like your style of decorating and even though Im not even close to doing the interiors yet In my mind I can imagine it all how it will be. Im sure you are the same way! 😊❤️

Although the fireplace is lovely, it's not really good for producing heat. you might want to really consider a wood burning stove. Winter WILL be cold.
