A joy, in the midst of this hard quarantine, to hear the balm of Mozart so sweetly rendered, and it's fun to hear the intelligent musical nuances discussed. Thank you. I cross my fingers that the coming Traviata of Madrid won't be canceled. Though, as things stand, I'm starting to become despondent... Don't get sick. Forza.
I think I speak for everyone when I say any time you want to upload sessions like this is fine with us. We have nowhere to go and nothing to do. So this is a brief musical respite from the viral purgatory we’re all currently living through.
The intelligent conversation about artistry was even more rewarding than the always beautiful sounds! And thank you for shouting out all of the artistic organizations and individual artists who would suffer under quarantine even though this was posted early in the pandemic.
Fantastica SEMPRE!!! Le arie di Mozart poi sono magnifiche ascoltate da una voce così bella e da una persona con un animo buono come questa ragazza eccezionale!! Grazie per questi bei video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Came across this Classical Life interview while killing time yesterdayvwaiting for emails..lots of stuff to organise here in South Australia because we have just gone into closing churches cinemas pubs gyms everything. Lovely to discover such a splendid singer new to me but obviously well known in the northern hemisphere
Lisette, this is an absolute godsend. I'm a singer, too (although nowhere near yourself!), and find videos such as these to be incredible learning opportunities. Thank you! xox
You're both right. It's regal, it's "countess". And then that sweet false cadence in one of the last "che dubitar mi fa" (as if to make audible that "dubita"), and which sounds almost out of "Dove Sono"... Gorgeous.
Grazie ! Sei così generosa nell'offrire questo Momento di studio....poi ognuno può dire la sua...ma sei comunque una grande artista proprio per la tua umiltà. 🙏
Beautiful😍 I really love your music, it made my day much better 😎 and I think your instagram live and youtube contents are very helpful for singers Thank you Lisette❤ Take good care of your health too😷
Lisette, you are such a motivator and inspirer. Thank you for being a light to everyone around you. I look forward working together in one of your Masterclasses!! Beautifully sung. ❤💪👏🎶
Omg thank you Lisette!!!! Really appreciate you giving us an inside look into your rehearsal process. You sound great as usual and have a wonderful coach. Thanks for sharing and hope to hear you soon once this is all over!
@@LisetteOropesaSoprano It does have a couple of high Fs in it, but I can just hear you tearing through the coloratura in that beautifully expressive legato way that you do!
It brings me tremendous joy to be able to listen to such a gorgeous voice, with this much of a polished technique, from such a great artist. I must say, Lisette, you are one of the absolute greats! I have just heard your performance of "Martern Aller Arten" and it is truly outstanding. Thank you, for all your hard work. You're a remarkable artist!
I feel lucky to have coached in the same room as Lisette Oropesa! Glad this showed up on my youtube suggestions. (Hey Michael, Zack Frank from LSU says hi)
An injection of joy in these difficult times. I so enjoy hearing your artistic process, its so incredibly fascinating. Id almost rather hear this than the finished product. Almost. You are incredible, if you ever come to vancouver I will be sure to be in the audience!
Thank you for posting, what a joy for our soul. The second aria was exquisite ❤️ Have you ever sung Vorrei Spiegarvi O Dio I love this concert aria, so many different emotions.
Oh my, Mozart won’t heal anything when I try singing his repertoire. I feel like I’m being bull rushed by crazy fairies. I love your energy and how fun and light you are as an artist. You got an official fan in me! ❤🎉
La música es la mejor medicina para el alma, particularmente en estos días tan críticos alrededor del mundo. Te he admirado mucho a través de tu carrera.
Hi Lisette, Thanks for the video! Do you have any book recommendations for someone who wants to learn more about singing techniques and Opera in general?
I've just stumbled on your TH-cam channel. I'm sad I didn't find it before, when the pandemic started. I absolutely love when you sing Mozart. You and other opera singers got me through many hard days at work and made the good days better.
Where I can find sheet notes of Chi sa, chi sa, quel sia for piano and voice? For free, if possible :) Thank you for this video, it was very interesting and educational, and of course, beautiful to listen to.

Hi Lisette,

Do you have any book recommendations for someone who wants to learn more about singing techniques and Opera in general?
Hmm there are lots of singing books out there like Great Singers on Great Singing, and there are method study books. How about the Opera Encyclopedia?
