This is beautiful and I sincerely love Lisette's voice. However, can anyone else hear something in there that suggests that she is destined to sing other things in the future? I hear the potential for a lot of Puccini in her sound, but then, there is plenty of time for that 💕
She has the capacity. Even though she sounds like Beverly Sills, the voice is MUCH bigger. One of the very first roles I heard her sing was as one of the Rhein Maidens in Das Rheingold at the Met. There was really no problem hearing her over the orchestra.
Perfectly [im]perfect and just all around stunning and breathtaking. I strive for diligence like this. Grateful to have artistry like this to inspire me on my journey in this modern day and age. Brava a tutti!!!!! 2:09 👏🏾🤯👏🏾🤯😭💕
This was a socially distanced Covid concert. It oughtn't have worked, but the wonderful stage presence of the lady made it so. She made the large space her own and she and the company are to be congratulated.

I dont think there is a full recording of her singing Norina. I had asked her husband Steven Harris if there was a recording of Norinas aria in full just a couple months back and he said there was not.

Massenet has written extremely precisely his notes he has written on his score ' vite ' et piqués ! ?! variations acceptable on the second time only ( b' part ! ) chapeau bas could have been better in rythm et doit fleurir = double croche svp ! BUT as always a great moment of music without the exciting presence of spectators

Yes, maybe some of the lighter rolls. She’s so musical, obviously a bright intellect, I don’t think she’ll sing in a new fach too soon.
