But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. (1 Timothy 4:1)
Fall away from the faith? What does this mean? Is it about believers who are distracted? Is it about loss of salvation? Or does it mean something else?

Doctrine of demons is that you don't need the living God all you need is your knowledge of good and evil and you can be great

I grew up hearing ANY hobby was an "idol". That we needed to be willing to give up anything for the lord.
So being too into sports or movies (unless it was "turned over")was an idol. Somehow though ifyou played in the worship band you gottokerp youre hobby.
You really have to wrest scripture to keep "once saved always saved". Depart from the faith means what it says.
You really just have to NOT be blinded to the Truth to understand that once you are saved, you are always saved... otherwise you call God a liar, a promise-breaker, and not all-powerful...which He is NOT.
All sin was paid on the cross so how can sin cost one salvation when it was all paid for short answer it cant.

@@markjohnson9402The coming wrath of God, for those who have rejected God's free gift of Salvation, with Jesus death and resurrection. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.
Is it ok to say members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, aka LDS or Mormons, are Saved ? initially they do believe in Christ but was deceived right out the gate.
Nick Ex. I don’t think LDS are saved because their gospel is not the gospel of the Bible and the apostles.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump of course. But always keep in mind: if someone has received Christ, making them become born again, they have an inseparable bond between them and God. So theoretically, there could be saved people who deceived into joining a cult like Mormonism or Jehovah’s Witnesses. But those who are raised in these cults, they usually are so indoctrinated that they don’t even realize who Jesus really is. Pray for those who are in those cults and still unsaved... they need God’s help.

As someone who lives amongst many Mormons, I can affirm it's a good and honest question. My hope and prayer is that the love and mercy of God is wider than any of us could imagine. I want the most people as possible in heaven, not the fewest.
I don't think Mormons are saved because they believe in a different Jesus. They believe Jesus was a created being and not the eternal God

If you love mee Keep my Commandments ( 10 commandments ) we do not keep the 10 commandments because we want to be saved, we keep them and obey God because we are saved!
You cannot take away any of the 10 commandments, Jesus kept the 10 commandments even into His death ( Rested on the Sabbath Day )
In Revelation 14:12 it clearly states "Here are those that keep the commandments and have the testimony of Jesus Christ"
Will we be obedient to our Creator out of love or chose to remove His Holy 10 commandments which are ONLY there to protect us.

@@sonOfTheL1vingGod Amen, and so we should also do good things on the Sabbath day, it is the day of the Lord, He has made it.
We should do holy things and acts of love on the 7'th day Sabbath, just as on any other day of the week, but the 7'th day is holy as God made it holy.
Saturday is the 7'th day of the week.
Totally agree with you. The Law is still relevant/important for the believer. Does it mean that now that we are under Grace,The Law no longer applies? It would be utterly foolish to say “yes”. We obey The Law because we love Christ. We don’t obey The Law cause we want to be saved. Christ obeyed it for us. Hence, why we need to put our trust in Christ for our Salvation from Gods Holy wrath. His Standard is His Law. We broke it & Christ obeyed it.
