Thanks for making it guys. It was an after-hours quick meet up, but we're glad you had a good impression about whatever we're doing here. Aquascaping is a wonderful hobby. Our goal is to support everyone who is entering the hobby and also make it more popular worldwide. See you soon guys! :)
Hi George, since you showed your vid with the opening of the shop I think ,I have watched it over and over, so clean and I think mind blowing tanks or pieces of art is a better word for it. Almost like your scapes, lol. I appreciate you guys more then a Lott of Arts in musea. Might be something for you: in every country a George Farmer museum kinda like this store or your store and workshop. ,but then sustained by a small entrance fee. ,could be cool
I agree tissue culture is definitely the way to go. Here in India, they are catching up in popularity nowadays. After having used them in a couple of my scapes, I can definitely say they are the best. They are travel safe, have no hitchhikers and adapt really quickly.
The whole shelves of tissue plants is super cool, it looks like how you might have dry goods on a shelf but it's with live plants! The whole place just looks incredible. Love that tank you showed at the end with the barbs and the emersed plants.
This shop is amazing. George Farmer did a video there and I started following them. I'm so glad you were able to visit and video this store. I want to go to Hungary just so I can visit Green Aqua! My local store gets a few Dennerle tissue culture plants but they are very expensive. I tried some the mosses and the tissue cultures are definitely worth the money. Travel safe.
A little piece of heaven is in Budapest.cant wait for something like that in my country, there are nice stores in the Netherlands and around that but this shop is more like a museum to me, make the store on line and I would pay a little entrance fee to enjoy these pieces of Art. It's a little to far to drive there for me so for now I subbed to them. Thanks Cory
What a gorgeous shop! I hope the European style layout of shops catches on England. I'm pleased you showed the Dennerle snail catcher in action as I have it on my shopping list. 😊
I absolutely love aquascapes like these. So intricate and magical. Not too many fish, but I feel that helps to keep everything calm and serene. I hope to one day accomplish something similar. A beautiful playground for my white clouds to enjoy.
What’s the point for this device? Why would you want to catch snails if you’re the one intentionally putting them in the tank. Also what do you do with the snails after you catch them
I knew it this snail catcher would steal the show :) :) honestly, these are the things which sitting on your shelf, no one buys it, but once you try and use it people want it. We never used a snail catcher before. But on this tank, the 4x90cm sides gives so much room for these small snails and manual removal isn't that easy because of the reflections etc. With this thingie it takes a minute or 2 to go over on all sides :) Got the staff recommended badge from us :)
It may have stole the show but your aquascapes and attention to detail is incredible! Thank you for opening your doors to Aquarium Co-Op, you have added another spec of inspiration to my imagination. The aquarium hobby in a way quite literally saved my life. Now with that sob story, is it possible to find one of those snail catchers in the US?
Hi Corry. Quick question if you have time please. (great channel by the way, I discovered you a couple of days ago and have binge watched). I'm starting a tropical tank with my son, do you think it would be unwise to introduce bacteria from my outdoor koi pond? The pond is 18 months old, stocked to 50% capacity and contains plants. The water tests are fine and the fish seem healthy but I don't know very much about parasites or disease (and never kept tropical, just a few goldfish over the years). There could be all kinds of pathogens in the pond. The koi flash occasionally but usually just after a clean and partial water change. (I refill the pond with an inline filter on the hose). Should I just use a product to start the tropical tank instead of transferring filter media from the pond? I used Tetra safe start in the pond but don't know if it helped. Hopefully I have given enough info for a quick answer, like, "What could possibly go wrong, risk it". (The indoor tank will be planted, the fish will be common community species).
I can't seem to find reference to this anywhere else by the way, just taking filters from cold water goldfish to tropical. Not an outdoor pond with frogs and dead leaves that birds wash themselves in.
Wow! The tanks look so beautiful and lush. I'd love to live near a dedicated store like this. At 1.52, there are some fish in the tank that appear half orange/pale blue. Can anyone tell me what they are?
Check out Green Aqua's channel for more awesome scapes. m.th-cam.com/users/viktorlantos
what are some of the best aquatic dealers for fw plants n fish and top recommendations for sw fish corals n macros
The point when you say that you like it when the plants grow emersed says submersed in german should say aus dem wasser
And after that when you say green neons translates bad in says neon grün neon green light
And the moment you pick up the tissue culture you say tha you sell it it says in german that you see it it shoul say verkaufen
After this agin you say the pla ts grow emersed and it should say in german aus dem wasser
