- Today’s video is the look I’ve been doing a lot off camera, using some of my favorite no-makeup makeup items and lately including the new Salt New York Sneaky Balm in N13, the lightest shade yet. Today I’ll show you the tips and tricks for achieving a truly no-makeup look that still looks better than actually wearing no makeup (at least on me), and we’ll compare the new lightest shade to the old lightest shade, N12.

I had such a similar relationship with makeup, particularly complexion products, for a long time. I took a several year break from foundations and concealers, even tinted moisturizers, to get to a place where I didn’t hate my skin. Now I get so much joy out of using my makeup, and have started introducing those products back into my routine in a healthier way
I took a year off makeup about 10 years ago because I felt like it was where I was basing my self worth due to my acne. I go back and forth but generally I feel a lot better about myself now because of that

I just got my sneaky balm in N11 a couple weeks ago and it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. First of all, the package was sitting in my mailbox for hours in the Georgia summer heat (close to 100 degrees) and the product was still fully stable and firm when I brought it inside. I thought it was going to be melted or at least extremely soft and slippery. Second, it is the best shade match I have ever used! And lastly, I’m super oily so thought it wouldn’t work well for me, but it’s definitely not as dewy as I was concerned it would be. A little setting powder makes it last as well as any other light coverage base for me.
can you recommend a moisturizer for under the sticky balm, i run a little oily too. I just ordered my pallet and am waiting for it and hope i love it too
@@timmiller252 I actually was just using the elf oil control lotion in the summer in the AM. It seemed to give me a little bit of moisture without being greasy in the slightest. I will say, the sneaky balm is not bulletproof. It definitely still fades and gets oily throughout the day, but much less than I expected for such a light coverage and emollient product

pro tip- use the mint balm dot calm around your nose when you’re sick and it’s raw from blowing it. HEAVEN.

Having a really bad complexion day and this is EXACTLY what I needed.
You do have great brows. But you also have a beautiful face shape with high cheek bones, a great jaw line & amazing lips/smile. You have a classic model's face proportionally. Lucky you, you can pretty much pull off any hair style & most makeup looks quite naturally (It won't look like you're wearing a costume or like the look is wearing you) since you know your color harmony so well. It's fun to hear a fellow artist/painter use art vocabulary & color theory applied to makeup. I hate it when my face is shiny/reflective all over too. Pale & shiny = looking unwell lol.

My everyday makeup if I’m not going to an event, I so a little bit of a bb cream or tinted moisturizer on my cheeks to help tamp down my rosacea redness, a little clear brow gel, and then dust my face with a little powder or cream bronzer. Love it

Love this! Sneaky Balm has been my fave, especially this summer. I've already hit pan and am ordering more. Also the Milk Makeup brow gel is the best. The color options are nice and cool and natural looking. All the best from Texas 😊❤️.
I have really pale eyelashes, so when I do a no makeup makeup look I use brown mascara and just wiggle it in the base of the lashes. Also you can wipe off the brush with a paper towel to make sure you don’t deposit too much product. Right now I’m using a Eyeko mascara in brown that just looks like perfection.

Honest beauty has a "tinted" lash serum that's like a mascara that just adds a tint to your lashes. They also have it in clear, thought it would really compliment this look btw lol

Will the Yummy Skin balm powder also set your concealer to keep it from creasing or is it just about mattification?
It's not going to set it completely
I avoid powder under my eyes just because it alwayssss creases on me - do you find the Danessa Myricks creases less than a regular setting powder would?
Less, yes. Still a tiny bit though.
