I love this watch. Bought it and just can't get enough of that dial. So well made. I have a 7&3/4 wrist, and it still looks good, definitely more European leaning taste than American. I think this helps with its ability to be dressed up, but it's simply not a suit/tuxedo watch because of how tall it is. Robust too. This is THEE watch you wear on the Amalfi coast, Bahamas, or in Greece!
Tried it at the boutique and almost bought it, best Omega diver IMO, bracelet two leagues above the Seamaster 300. I just want one model with an open caseback, too bad cause te color is wonderful
Just one of my absolute favorites- I do wish I could get this color with a transparent caseback- and honestly I would prefer the PO 43mm - but still, this could be my next watch
Omega's taking advantage of its small-wrist customers with this watch. It has the single-barrel 8800 movement of the entry-level Diver 300m, rather than the twin-barrell movement with the time -zone function of the 43 mm Planet Ocean--yet the watch carries the premium price of the full-size Planet Ocean. This is a watch that should only be bought on the secondary market.
“Size / thinness is a feature”: that’s why the 8800 is used. Same reason it’s used in the NTTD. I have both 88xx and 89xx movement watches and don’t consider them on a different tier.
@@jamiea8318 Functionally, this a a Diver 300M, made to look like a Planet Ocean and priced like a Planet Ocean. The only Planed Ocean feature that it has is the 600 meter water resistance instead of 300 meters, and that's completely useless--it just makes the watch thicker. They should offer this mid-size watch as a Diver 300M and price it as one.

I have one and on my 7” wrist it feels small but robust and unique. The color play, specs, and size makes this a great watch
Totally agree, tried it on at an AD and I was surprised how the the lug to lug made it feel pretty small
If only the 43.5 dial and 8900 movemnt was in this color combo, I would buy in a heartbeat. This is one beautiful watch.
I get the thickness of the watch because of the 600m depth, but if was just a little thinner. Love the look and the uniqueness of the watch.
Absolutely awesome and far more attractive then the seamaster 300 in my opinion
Nice golfers tan Tim
Playing a lot of golf Tim 👍
Perfect size for slim/medium wrist 🎉

I’ve always liked the PO but the baby blue accents aren’t for me. The black ceramic POs are fire though
Fair but I hope you’ve given the summer blue a chance in person- they are absolute stunners
It's darker IRL
Very nice

I prefer the 8800! I have multiple watches a think quickset date is much more usefull than a quickset hour hand
@@highnrising Almost every Omega should be considered on the secondary, youl save a few K’s
8800 > 8900
