Hi. I'm trying to setup a Canon E471 wireless printer. Canon pointed me to the E470 when I searched for help on the E471, so I'm figuring the instructions are similar. My problem is the box did not contain the cable to connect to my laptop for me to setup the software on my laptop. I saw the instructions for direct connecting to an Android smartphone, but is there another way to connect the printer to my WIFI network if I don't have that cable? If I need to download the software, I'm using a Chromebook. Thanks.

What if the process stuck at procedure number 2. Keep on loading and could not find the printer name. Ive been stuck at number 2. Keep on loading and loading. At last it say connection failed. As it mean the printer is not connected to the router. How to settle this?
