Hi, you can connect to your phone's hotspot via Cableless Connection method. Alternatively, the printer comes with Direct Wi-Fi connection too. Enable the Wi-Fi direct on the printer, then you can connect your phone to the printer directly.

My suggestion is go for ink tank type of printer even in Canon brand. This E series print has a built in EEPRM chip that will kill the printer at 4,000 pages of printouts even if the printer is in good condition with new cartridges. No will say this. Ink tank system also has this counter and stop the print. But it can be reset. Not in this E series printer
You should also add about connecting to the wifi network of the printer. The default is the S/N on the printer packag. This I had to check off the internet.

Even if the printer is in mint condition, it won't start. Service LED will blink 7 times. Service center will say that time, its life over. Buy new one.

Hi, unfortunately only model E3370 or higher end model will have a small and even border size. Similar to Hp printer, entry model such as HP2330 and 2770 series have this type of uneven border too.
Hi, E470 does not comes with borderless printing. Instead it has a bordered margin of 3mm for top, left and right side, and 16.7mm for the bottom margin. So far as I know, there are 4 models have such margin, which are Canon E410, Canon E470, HP 2330 series, and HP 2770 series. If you are looking for full page printing, Canon E560, E4570, G series etc comes with full A4 borderless printing
