- The front fender gap is particularly large on the BMW M3 G81, so in this episode something is going to be done about it to transform the ride and appearance.
The BMW M3 G81 is the very first production M3 Touring (station wagon) ever produced. It's the perfect blend of high performance and everyday practicality.

Around town, speed bump drives would be a video worth doing..
Thanks for your suggestion, but that would make for such a boring video..
Agree i have added the same H&R lowering springs to my m3 touring its lowerd 40mm front and rear and added 15mm spacer to the rear and 12.5mm to the front really happy with the result it looks amazing stance is on point 👌 great video and nice touring 👍
It's the best first mod that's for sure, and great choice in lowering springs mate! I don't feel that the ride comfort has been compromised at all, looks waaay better, and has less body roll on those hard corners 🤌🏻
Love this, great idea to do a video 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Awesome video mate, looks sick lowered. Rear spoiler, under glow and interior roof lights. :)))
Thank you! Stay tuned, we'll have some nice surprises coming up!
Agreed ! have mine going shortly , curious to know if your doing a downpipe \ ECU or exhaust. Will keep my ear to the ground to see what you do next
That's really exciting, and congrats! I'm a huge advocate for lowering the car first before any other major modification.
Yes 100%! I will be focusing more on the performance side of things next year!
Looks like the perfect ride height, awesome look!
Loving it! I haven't had issues getting around with this height yet either!
@@iilumolab not that I could afford this beautiful ride, but damn not coming to the USA. 😂
@@ipaulosanthat's a real shame! Enjoy watching mine for now :P
Not sure if you’re an audio file - if you are then consider the speakers and amp. I was very disappointed with the Harmon Kardon stock system and did a full replacement with Morel. Give Phatt Audio Braeside a call (ask for Sam) and mention me - he will show you what he did to my Touring. It freaking BANGS now !!!! BTW - we have identical colour car! Loving the Dravit Grey ❤
I remember seeing a post of theirs a little while back so that one must be yours! So far I've only just coded in the Bowers & Wilkens sound profiles which has made it better. Would actually like to hears yours one day! Team Dravit Grey! 🤙🏻
Great vlog, looking good, next mod, albeit a little pricey is the Eventuri carbon intake, they just look awesome and I'm sure would help the car breathe.
Thanks mate! I agree that those Eventuri carbon intakes are a piece of art!
Looks great, but how does it deal with speed bumps? Mine stock is already not great, so not going to lower it, but added 12.5 mm spacers all round and it helps a lot with the stance
Need bigger offset or spacers at the bring the wheels out to look meaner 😅
We ended up putting spacers in one of our episodes ;)
Definitely needs the Adro facelift kit!
Great suggestion!
Making me want to do it. ❤
You should! Makes the car look and handles waaaaay better!
Looks soooo good man
Really appreciate that! There's more to come so stay tuned 👀
Do you have a kit for golf MK7 GTI with DCC?
We do, please reach out to our team - hello@iilumolab.com
Now it needs spacers
Agreed! Just a shame it didn't arrive in time, but we'll slap them on as soon as they arrive.
10/10
Appreciate it!
What about the dynamic ?
The handling dynamics have changed for the better. Less body roll, comfort hasn't really been compromised to be honest, and more confidence taking harder corners that's for sure!
Interesting. It seems that the M3 has earned some suspension issues of the
standard modell.
don't get me wrong. It drove beautifully in stock form, but it is further enhanced with the lowering spring kit :)
@@iilumolab comfort wasn’t compromised on asphalt maybe lol. On bumpier roads it sure af was.
What colour is that?
Dravit Grey!
Does the Adro kit come already painted colour coded to the car or did you have to do this yourself? Thanks
@@iilumolab thanks
@@adcha1 The bumpers don't come painted so you would need to organise that yourself.
it is too low
It's still a practical height - haven't had trouble running around town with it yet!
1 buy a perfect car 2 rice it 3 xdrive being xdrive slowly killing front axels after lowering car for no reason
The only thing valid about your comment is your point number 1. The rest just made us laugh. Definitely fun at parties 👀
@@iilumolab in one year tell me how your front axels feel 😉
Its a commun problem in europ with them since you put them at an angel and cose exesive wear
@@ujt3375 We're located in Australia so our roads will differ. We also have 3 bags of rice that we haven't opened up to cook yet. In bag one we have adjustable LCA's, bag two we have adjustable UCA's, and in bag three we have adjustable SBL's. It's going to be a feast 🍚
@@ujt3375 The car isn't modded to preserve axels, or brake pads, or tyres. The car is modded for enjoyment. 1 year is too long.. Can already confirm that it's a dream to drive 😄
