  • How to Install Givi crash bars on a Suzuki V-strom 1000. This is the first step to getting Timmy's adventure motorcycle off road ready. We have more things we want to do like modifying the front fender and mounting up some Motoz tires which will be coming soon. (For the record you don't have to drill these crash bars like we did if you have the stock motor mount bolt.)

    If you have the stock motor mount mount bolt you don't have to drill the bars. We're planning on doing a few more things to this bike and those videos will be coming in the future.

    I like the name "Venom" for Timmy's black Suzuki. I think I'm going to name my black Suzuki "Vader". Will that make me the nemesis of Obi-Wan? I hope not.

    Did you try leaving everything threaded just enough to hold it together and then tightening each one a little at a time? Kinda like putting a car on a truck. Do it in a sequence. I scored a great set of crash bars for my 2023 KLR brand new cost 300 bucks for 100 bucks. He swore they wouldnt go. I had them on in 30 minutes. And each side was spaced accordingly. And since I put mine on Ive seen numerous people claiming either their holes arent lining up etc or one side is closer to the tank than the other etc. And its because theyre cranking them down as they go. I learned this trick raising 5 kids and putting swing sets together lol Directions? We dont need no stinking directions. And if you dont have a random nut and or washer left over....you aint normal lol

      @TheBeardedGrump  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yeah we did that but those screws on the bottom of the cross bar are at the back facing towards the motor. I have no idea why they didn't put them facing the front. You're right if you don't have a few screws leftover you didn't do it right 😂
