What a really nice guy Aiden is! (Rob & Chris have got some fantastic contacts) also the windscreen guy and some of the scrapyard guys, all worth their weight in gold! These things all add up to making this the best U.K. channel on TH-cam in my opinion.
Yeah absolutely agree , nice set of lads and some good repartee, I like their attitude, they aren’t arrogant know all’s . Attitude is everything . It’s rather sweet Rob is doing this for his mother in law. It’s been an enjoyable programme , I really enjoyed it ! And Chris was really there working with him !
Yeah Aydin's an absolute gem 😎
Agreed Phil. Clever lad that Aiden
Another vote for me on Aydin very down to earth and helpful
@@TfRsmokinmasta his name is Aydin mate 😉
Said it before but… always hear Chris in the background! Don’t stress over the microphones lads, will only be another thing for you to have to do! Concentrate on the cars! You are legends!!
It's remarkable that Aiden can show up in his van and make you a key on the spot. I agree, Rob. It's fascinating.
Aiden is a great guy personally know him, also he is a top diagnostics guy 💯👍 well done for both of you connecting
Idan is a key cutting technician wizard. His knowledge is amazing, seems a top lad too. NIce work chaps.
Hats off to aiden he certainly knows his stuff and seems like a really nice guy. Another great video guys well done. 👍👍
That locksmith is a real craftsman. It’s scary how easy it is to pick vehicle locks but it highlights how important it is to have some form of secondary security device.
Nice to see a young guy running his own business and passionate about his trade! Well done Aiden.
"We know more about this person than we know about most people". Good one, Rob. Aidan seems a very nice fellow. Hope the little car comes through its surgery.
The key dude is one clever cookie, much respect,I enjoyed watching and his explanations
Don’t worry too much about the microphone fellas. Most of us long term subscribers know how hard you work and the long hours you do. At the end of the day time is money, and we know that you guys have to make the most of the time you have, especially while the nights are still light ish. Cracking video as always
Hi Chris and Rob. A few comments have covered these points but I wanted to say thank you for the high quality content yet again. I really enjoyed the Chris intro to the vehicle and his commentary thereafter; and then the key content. All the best, Lofty
Enjoy the content that shows the other skills/specialists involved in your business. Iden, the tyre centre you use,, Kent salvage and the guys at the carwash are definately part of the channel now! 👍
love it when your lock guy comes past -- he is great value and boy he knows his stuff alright !! -- sure mum-in-law will love that little polo
Seeing the process of getting replacement keys is really fascinating. What a lovely lad Aiden is. I think that wee car will come up nice. 👍
Great content, it’s great seeing Aiden doing his work, so interesting . Thanks Rob and Chris
Thanks Rob and Chris - really enjoyed the section about the key cutting and recoding the ignition.
I really enjoyed seeing Aiden going to work its really interesting to see other specialists on your channel
I like how iden knows his stuff on locks and it's amazing how someone so young has decided to go into business for himself I always enjoy your videos on this channel and watch most of them to the end
I vote for another episode of “Train Travels With Rob” for the collection in Chester! 👍
It just goes to show, if you shop around you can often save a good few quid. The sorting of the Key is very interesting and Ayden must have an incredible amount of knowledge, as he just roll of information to your questions with out any real pauses to show he is thinking about what to say he just give you and answer.
Don't know if you will see this comment now but I'm just watching what happened to this little polo on winter road rescue. The girl actually missed her turning and ended up in a ditch with this one feel free to go and watch and I'm sure Chris will also enjoy it, it is series 1 episode 21
Loving the genuine after show waffle.
This will make a delightful little Polo when it’s repaired, what a nice guy the key man was, it was awesome to see the key cutting machine at work, now I know how my Škoda Fabia key was cut at the factory❤.
As an aside, I picked up a car from Chester back to Sussex in one day. The train is pretty straightforward.
Hi both, really good video today, big shout out to Aidan for a great explanation and sharing with us, really interesting. As for the subscribers car, Chester is a lovely place and easy to walk around, so I defo. Vote for a Rob train trip video, normally such a good laugh! I stayed at the Mill House Hotel and Spa if you go up the day before Rob and it was perfectly good. I also wanted to comment on the microphones, please don’t worry, we all have listened without them for years and it’s been fine, Chris is right do it when you have time otherwise it will become a chore and you guys don’t deserve that. Thanks as alway guys. Dave.
another top video lads. what an extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable lad aiden is. very interesting how the keys are cut and the small lock picking device is very neat. genuinely love watching your videos. You have got the right balance between showing bodywork repair and the technical stuff. keep up the good work boys
Yes Rob train it to Chester 👍just check the rail strikes!
Aiden is a real asset to your business, keep him onside. He is also a nice chap, friendly, helpful and ready to help you. Those modern key cutters are well ahead of the old 'make a copy by the machine feeling the old one'. Disappointing but not a complete fail, but it does offer us the prospect of more interesting views of hard work being done. Will you get a couple of doors to make life easier?
Lads don't sweat it on the microphones, sure only a few months back Chris didn't speak at all 🤣😂🤣 We can be patient 😉 regards from Galway 👍🍻💚 💙💛
Those Lishi lockpicks are absolutely amazing. A must have for any locksmith, only issue is the genuine ones are £30 EACH and you need one for each type of lock. A few manufacturers use the same type of wafer locks or disc detainer locks. Also Rob and Chris.
NEVER SHOW A KEY BLADE ON VIDEO! You can analyse it with a fine eye and decode it and cut a key for it. This goes for any lock type, not just automotive stuff.
All good lads, you're both clearly very skilled, humble and down to earth too, which keeps us watching 👍😎
Nice little motor the polo is iidon is a top bloke for keys all your contacts are nice bloke's keep it up guys fabulous work
Good luck with this one, also you are right about Tayna batteries, I've been using them for about 5 years and they never disappoint.
The key 🔑 guy is a real gentleman 👍🏻 Get the train it’s direct from Euston 🤣
Top video as always chaps Seems like idan is a top bloke for sorting use out a key again
Idan
Hi Rob and Chris a brilliant video again very interesting how the keys are cut love seeing that and I always love the chats between you and Chris keep up the great work and videos Bernard
What a guy Aydin is,gotta say I think Chris looked and sounded very unimpressed looking at the polo at the beginning but at the end seemed a bit better, did hear Chris at the end as he was closer to the camera👍always love listening to you guys waffling, look forward to see what you decide on the polo🤙👌👍
Thanks for another great video, I know what you mean about not winning every time. I convert old lorries into farm trailers to sell. I did one a few weeks ago came out real sharp with paint and the whole 9 yards the profit wasn't there with increased parts/ materials prices. I had another one to do, a guy asked me the price for the chassis, box and steel to build it himself, by the time I cut the cab/engine off scrapped that, sold him the steel for the hitch I made more profit as a DIY kit than the built one. I keep seeing that big key in the background , Is it the old ignition key for Chris's first car, or the key to the large safe where he keeps all the loose change he finds in cars L.O.L . Take care
Love the key bit with Aydin 👍
I work in aerospace and see large scale CNC milling machines working. Seeing that little CNC mill doing work is very cool! Great video guys!
iedan has picked the right career. bet you need some proper references to buy a lot of the gear.
thankyou gentlemen and the key cutting is so facinating,👌good luck with this one,,
a link regarding the batteries would be handy Rob when you get time TIA,👍👍
How well did Aiden come across.
His parents should be so proud.
Yes absolutely. Got a great set up in the van, and latest cutting tech.
Got great knowledge and customer service skills are impeccable. Top lad.
The Audi TT Porsche and Bentley were parked there for Matt Armstrong to look at in a video he just put out if you want a better look at them
The key cutting guy must be a gem of a guy for you both, just turns up and crack’s on good to see young guys in the business of making money and helping friends out, someone good to know 👍🏼great video as always 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a nice van set up aiden has!!
Hi rob and Chris good luck with the wee car, idan done a great job on the keys. From marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Vrs car breakers Northampton good for second hand bit's genuine aswell probs get a full front end for that
Nice to see a car that isn't black ! Love the key section, if I were a young man again I would like to do the key cutting !
Loved the bit on ‘Who owned this car!’ Really was hilarious, please do this as a feature on each new car you get, if you can Rob 👍😂
I find the young lad with the keys very interesting
Certainly knows his stuff
The lock part was super-interesting.
Really interesting to see other trades working.
Chris's face when Rob read out the mileage. Priceless
Yep, that mileage made me feel sick too.🤮
First time I have seen the Lishi tool being used other than on Lock Picking Lawyers channel 👍
Loved the ‘who owned this car’ part. Makes a great addition to the already great videos!
Another great video ,the key section was very interesting indeed.
Aydin's an absolute legend 😎🇹🇷
I absolutely love your videos and I personally love Chris doing bodywork as I think he is a bloody wizard on bodywork keep up the fantastic content guys
Really enjoyed watching Aiden decode the lock & cut the key, he certainly knows his stuff.
Aiden knows his game. 😎🤌
You have to miss a lot of frogs! Really enjoy you both chatting and nice of you to share your knowledge
Aiden he’s the man for no keys great information and content well done guy’s.
Iden good at his job .Good to watch.chris got alot to do on that body work, but he's ace at it.did he used to work at a body shop as his work man ship.great .
Aidan sure knows his stuff, fascinating watching lad get it all done. Pity so far from me, need new key for the missus car.
Chester trip would be good fun to watch.
Iden/Aidan like Chris is a wizard. Someone who really knows his stuff. Very impressive 👍👍👍
Great find Rob,needs a bit of work but it will turn up great.
Ive changed many Vw car windows in ym life and i can tell you to only buy Vw tempered windows and not some replacement ones.
So llyod Grossman let's take a look *through the car door keyhole " and see who owns a vehicle like this 🤣,topfella Aiden is and taking time to show how it all works 👍
Mint to watch the Key master at work 😎
Think that was another good find. She sounds good. Keep up the hard work.Cheers Rob & Chris for the video take care
The pair of you need to binge-watch a few @LockPickingLawyer videos 🙂
LISHI Tool used to pick/decode. Decode is the impressive part of the tool as you can then cut a new key.
We haven’t got time to watch videos bud
@@sruk I know, all go and those coffees aren't going to get from McD's on their own.
But you could watch a few if you caught the train to Chester and stayed overnight.
Can't wait to the next episode.
Which horseless carriage is that big key over Rob's l/h shoulder the ignition key for lol
Your key man certainly knows his stuff, top guy 👍
You learned a lesson there. Always check dealer prices for parts before assuming eBay will be cheaper.
This channel just gets better and better... This one was a belter. Cheers guy's.
If you’re ever needing starters or alternators give the people at the starter motor & alternator company ltd in Plymouth a shout. Ordered a new alternator on eBay and was delivered 24hrs later in scotland.
Great video and can you put a link in your comments above for the website you mentioned for new car batteries. Thanks
Iden top bloke such a great asset to have professional people around with the skills to do the key cutting instead of being ripped off by motor manufacturers 👍👍👍👍👍
Hello Rob and Chris,it's a starter, the Polo needs some work but it will turn out a tidy car.interesting how a key is made and different ones for other cars.
Love the pace of this video. Take the rough with the smooth 👍👍
Look up Tayna for batteries. Great prices and quick delivery.
Hi Chris keep an eye on Rob he's using the new what kind of person drove this car as a subterfuge to check for coins!
The key decoding of the lock and the cutting is very interesting. I would image all the gear is quite dear, but that is why the keys cost what they do. I'm sure you will do O.K with this even though it's a bit more mullered than you first thought
Another great video by you and Chris loved the content of getting the key cut and programmed keep up the good work great content and love watching the videos
I’ve bought a grey polo one this week Rob, timing has skipped 😅
Very enjoyable video, the key cutting guy was really interesting.
Aydin what a ledge 👍👍
I think that's a great idea love all motors so let's give it some love and give Rob and Chris our full support
*Yes guys rebuilding my car I see looking forward to this one* 👀
Very interesting to see the key guy at work. Good video.
Aiden is a top bloke, really good having a contact like him😊
It will turn out to be a nice motor as they all do guy's 👌 enjoy the trip to Chester Rob
the key to this is the key man....so so interesting
Another great video Rob, Chris. Really interesting and informative. Please do not worry about the last section of you both talking, it’s really interesting what’s coming up and what’s been happening. It’s like being in a meeting with you both. Which engages your audience even more. Have a great week.
I've seen the video now and with 99k , dents all round, front rad pack , headlight plus the colour Red which is the least popular your suspicions are correct Rob...it's a Lemon. All that work . I know you like getting involved Rob but that's just too much involvement . How about just finding a colour match bonnet and sticking it back in the auction? It's a runner now you've got a key.
Guys calm down, Aydin picking the lock is no different than Chris using a jig to straighten chassis legs up or him using a dolly on panel damage, then doing the body work, even with the tools it’s made to look easy but unless you’ve got the skill and knowledge the tools are worthless 👍
Yes please for another "Rob gets lost on the train again" video. Just make sure they're not on strike! 😆
Boys, you could ask if a subscriber is looking to buy a specific make and model of a vehicle before you start bidding on CoPart or similar - obvs no guarantees, but it might be easier to resell if you have a willing potential buyer already lined up, who is invested in watching the repairs etc? Great Vlog as usual 🙂
Loving the "Who lives in a car like this" walk around. I play the same game myself. Most of what I do are impounds though, so dismantled interior, a funny smell and Rizlas everywhere is normally a bit of a giveaway!
