As far as standing in front of your wicked and incompetent god on judgement day, what will the billions and billions of chinese, indians, and natives say? The ones that you nor your god give 2 shits about?
I'm sure you'll do what every other apologists tries to do: make a pathetic excuse for each and every wicked deed, poor decision, incompetence, contradiction, etc. But after a few dozen "context" excuses, you'll just have to admit that your god is incompetent and wicked.

@Computer User yes! we can see that believers base everything on faith, not science, coz when every religion book was invented, those ppl didnt have a clue about science and how the world works.the problem comes, when you believe earth is not flat, due to science facts, but believe in a god,due to your feelings.then it becomes a problem, coz you're cherry picking what you like, even if it contradicts itself. in addition, why believe anything on faith, just coz it makes you feel good, rather than believe anything only on proof, even if it doesnt make you feel good? you see? this is basically the diference between believers and atheists.believers are weak ppl,who fear death, oblivion, not having a greater purpose above wt they can make in their life,etc...so they wanna keep these ideea of a god,coz it gives them comfort, wile atheists,no longer fear those things and care more for wt is true and has evidence.

Detective: "At last, I found out who REALLY committed the murder."
You must tell me! How did you find out???
Detective: "With evidence! *slams a small book on the desk* "
    What's this??
Detective: "Open it and read the first page."
Okay... it says, the butler did it.
Detective: " *smiles and nods* "
.... But, how do we know it's true?
    Detective: "What do you mean?"
The book, how do we know that what is written in it, must be the truth?
Detective: "Because, it's in the book."
I know it's in the book, but how do we know it's telling the truth? What if it's a lie, or a mistake?

It's funny that weak/obscure evidence wouldn't work on a small case as a murder investigation, but in Real Life BS is totally acceptable for believing in the origin of the Universe.
You'd think the more important the question is, the less likely it would be to accept BS as truth, but it's the opposite apparently lol. BS is fine for the most valuable of questions.

Skeptic : "But the author didn't actually witness it nor did the author actually talk to the witnesses"
Detective : "But the author cites hundreds of witnesses"
Skeptic : "But the author is only repeating what someone told him/her about the witnesses. The author never talked to the witnesses, only to people who claimed to have talked to the witnesses. We also have no idea who the author is."

    my reply to Steve:
does your god have a divine plan?
is it impossible to alter your god's plan?
If you answered yes to both of those questions, how can there be any meaning in YOUR life? Everything that happens is part of god's plan and cannot be changed, and so they matter as much in the real world as the most badly written script for the worst television show ever.
Everything, even whether or not I believe in your god, is already planned by that god and cannot be changed. Your belief is as meaningless as my lack of belief, it was all planned by god and can't be changed. You can preach to me all day, every day for the rest of both our lives, you can even convince me you are right and god exists, but if god has decided I will not be saved, then I will not be saved.
If your god has this divine plan, the nothing means anything, EVER.
And he doesn't have a divine plan, or if his plan can change, then he's not much of a god.
    i

Sure, if you're dead, you feel no pain; you don't feel ANYTHING.
If you think oblivion beats life, go kiss a train. But if you can recall pleasant times, a talk about nothing much with a loved one, your first blow job, even, or that tasty dinner you just unbuttoned your jeans for...you have experienced something worthwhile.

With the 2nd caller: *wanting something to be true, doesn’t make it real* .
When I was about 18 years old I worked at a stationary shop where I heard of rumours that the shop might be haunted because certain lights kept switching on and off without anyone being there.
I was standing at one point reading a magazine when I felt a patting on the top of my back. I looked around and nobody was there. Straight away I leaped into the conclusion that it was the ghost of the shop. I was so excited. I had actual contact with a ghost!
Many years later I felt the same effect in my home. And I felt it again! I realised that all it was, was my muscles involuntarily bunching up, running over my body, and it felt exactly the same way like a person (or a ghost) was touching me. I then realised I believed in a silly self-induced tale. I was so silly to jump into a paranormal conclusion without actually thinking about all the possibilities that the body and mind can do to create these silly conclusions.
There’s no such thing as ghosts. It’s all good. No bogie mobsters under any bed at all.

    • @brucebaker810
      @brucebaker810 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I have had a NDE and did experience strange auditory hallicinations and it felt like I became the eye of a storm, were everything morphed around me in abstract flowing forms and colors. Its was quite a trip. I never saw this as something paranormal, it was very clear to me it was my brain shutting down and my body failing to breath, I felt it happening. I think with these kind of experiences, people need to give it meaning and then the brain does an amazing thing: it connects this experience to little snippets of knowledge/memories hidden in your mind, e.g. ideas about afterlife, stories about other peoples experiences, movies, books, religion... like a collective cultural memory: its just pattern recognition by a brain in distress.
