I love you guys so much. I used this video sometime in early highschool for the first half of the video and understood it thanks to your straight-forward simplicity. I'm now in university and using it again and it straightened out my confusion even at the much more advanced level than the one I was at last time I watched this video
I'm serious they are just like the squid sisters Amoeba sisters: they finish their videos with "stay curious" Squid sisters: they finished the news with "stay fresh" This is truly a big brain theory
From last year I started studying biology but, couldn't understand it but today I found your channel and from your video's it is much easier to understand biology . And my favorite ones is mitosis ones
I really like your video , it helps me very much in learning Biology. Explaining with cartoon is more interesting and I feel like I am watching a cartoon movie when I'm watching this . That 's really great.
Hi Amoeba Sisters! Would you mind making a video on how you make your videos, because you are both very talented in the field, as well as in teaching biology. It would just be really nice if we could understand how much work you actually put into your videos, and we fans can appreciate your videos even better.
Please Do a video on (1)Hashimoto’s when it attacks the thyroid as well (2)immune system disease and (3)inflammation throughout the whole body that that would be very helpful
wait a second...if organic means carbon-based, how come carbon dioxide is inorganic? Also, great video! I would appreciate it if you start a series where you go through short videos and lengthen them to give more detail, while still offering the short videos if people just want a summery.
Hello, just wanted to say your videos help out a lot. when the textbook or other sources can be hard to understand, your videos clear up a a lot! so thank you!
You know what I already know this but I still like this anyways Shout our to Petunia and pinky for helping me with my science tests last year I really appreciate it
Hey guys, I just found out that carbon dioxide (CO2) is "organic", because I have read that organic matter contains one or more carbon atoms, and that inorganic matter doesn't. Can you please change it if I'm correct, or correct me instead if I'm wrong?
So you bring up something that we had learned could be a topic all in itself! Some definitions will say any substance with carbon is organic, whereas others (like our cited sources) *generally* require both carbon and hydrogen meaning some carbon containing substances (such as carbon dioxide) would be inorganic. However, even that definition has exceptions such as carbon tetrachloride which is generally considered organic but has no hydrogen. Long story short, there is a lot of debate about these terms---and it seems most of the definitions have exceptions. One example is just searching for "is carbon dioxide organic or inorganic" which will pull up all kinds of different justifications. We actually have the topic of "organic vs. inorganic substances" on a potential future video topic poll, because we think it'd make a great exploration.
Its funny that my teacher told us to see this to do homework... Because it is awesome, funny and it teaches you at THE SAME TIME... I dont think my teacher just made this
Hey amoeba sisters! I just want to say my homeschool I am in is called #Insirecharterschools and I have seen all of ur vids and I love them! They are helping me with my science class witch I was failing but not now! thanks!
Hello, I learned about those concepts quite recently. It makes me think that a heterotrophic way of living is quite bad. You have to value yourself over another organism to consume it. Aren't autothropH organism much more ethical?
Nature has no moral compass. Survival is simply about surviving long enough to perpetuate your DNA beyond your own life. That's it. There is no better or worse, there is only beneficial to fitness, or death.
The only reason I clicked on this was because there was a chinese silkie on it! I have a Silkie hen as an indoor pet, she is white just like that. She's my blue ribbon show girl!
