these two duos are indeed charming, but like a style of music from the 1810s onward and extremely attributable to, among others, Ignaz Josef Pleyel. The length and style of the phrases are definitely from after Mozart's death in 1791 And how curious that the 6 duos ordered by the archbishop of Salzburg are nowhere to be found in the otherwise very complete princely archive of the princes bishops of Salzburg ? Grumiaux as always such elegance and his intonation is still unsurpassed to this day. Thanks for posting these little gems

Talvez a harmonia tenha a sua assinatura, mas a polirritmia e os fraseados me fazem sentir que ele estava tentando algo novo, ou então alguém o copiou. Mas se alguém o copiou, fez muito bem, pois ainda dá para imaginar ele compondo sobre uma mesa, em um dia acinzentado de chuviscos, um pouco de frio e um pouco de vinho para esquentar, em seu segundo movimento. A beleza jamais se perdeu, mas ouvir algo tão diferente vindo dele me faz ter pensamentos como os descritos.

This is the best combination of alto and soprano I've ever heard.
It's the only duo for violin and viola that I've ever heard. So, of course, it's the worst. And also the best. In any case, its delightful.
