I started training my sons from more advanced videos, then switched to yours. They are 8 and 10. I mean from one week to the next... Not even every day, but the explanation of mechanics. Both are getting in some pitching. They played for about a month or so last year. Other than that no baseball. Excited to see what is to come. Thank you!

What do you think about pitching side arm. My son although I have thought him to pitch with the mechanics from the sticks academy he reverts to side arm. He has power and is actually more accurate than throwing what they would call proper. But I worry that it would be harder on his arm. What are your thoughts?

I'm not against it at all. As long as he understands the foundations of pitching and works to strengthen his body in order to support the way he wants to throw. I would work tremendously on his posterior rotator cuff and back along with hips, glutes and abdominal. Thanks for the support - coach Jason

First off great video. You may have mentioned it but what kind of frequency/dose. How often are these kids going through this?

This is once a week with guidance for work and load on the the following days. Young ages 12u and under try to keep it fun and doing pitching 2-3 times a week is good. Thanks
