Thank you for another trip, it's too bad the camera does not pick up just how rough that country is! I always love a ride with you man:) You are the biker I wish I was;)!!!
@@iz723 yeet! The shop I bought the bike off fitted them incorrectly, thus they are upside down and I am yet to swap them. My riding buddy has been on my case about it... Thanks for the reminder. The joys of buying a bike in Vietnam 😂👌
It's a beginners ADV bike so it's a good choice if you think you can handle a 200kg bike. Otherwise maybe a drz400 at about 145kg with similar HP may be preferred
Do you have an engine guard on it, or is it stock? I ve ordered one and people are insisting on a heavy engine guard, i see how you drive and where you take it, and makes me wonder if they exaggerate that need.
Hey Luigi. The ABS can't be turned off from stock. There are aftermarket devices you can fit so that you can turn it off or some people remove a fuse to disable it. Many of the mountains here in central Vietnam are covered in various plantations like rubber trees and paper trees. Some are very fast growing and if you see a deforested area it's just the end of the harvest and they will plant a new one soon.
Hey man. Been a while. My friend broke his lower leg a few years ago in the north and had to get stretchered out by locals followed by an ambulance and multiple hospital rejections. I think the third hospital in Ha Noi accepted him. Hopefully it's something I never have to deal with. I do try to ride within a sensible limit. I'll be back on my smaller bikes again soon

Right on Brian! Cheers mate
Trail riding is a blast.
Incredible tour. From where have you got the hand proteectors! The Honda 500x has a bigger brake bottle.
Thanks mate. They are made by Bark busters. The model is Jett. Made in Australia but available world wide I believe
@@MotoRidesVietnam I've never seen Barkbusters with that kind of inner clamp to the controls. Do you have a model number at all?

Is that exhaust stock? It sounds great!
@@TraditionalAgriculture-z2h akrapovic slip on, 👍
Would you recommend this for first bike for beginners? I want a bike that I could drive on the street/highway and also drive off-road

Great! this trail will be more fun after rain :D
Yes. Maybe a bit slippery 😁
Any modifications on it?
Nothing special. Offroad tires. Rear YSS shock upgrade. Tall seat, bar adjustment and lower pegs 👍

My engine guard is broken. Avoid buying one that connects to the engine. They are known to break easy, even mounting a curb.
@@MotoRidesVietnam thank you for the reply. Rally raid engine guard it is then.
Hi. Just few questions. Is it possible to turnoff the ABS? What happened to the tree? Why the forest was cut? Thanks

What if you get seriously hurt on the trail? Do they have a helicopter ambulance service in Vietnam?

@@darkbrother8516 that's awesome mate. Enjoy!!!
Is this a full stock bike?
It has offroad tires, a beefed up rear shock and a few other basic mods. But yes
