@kylereeves7568 thanks. Been watching fish for 25 years. I had a book called A Guide To Common Sea Fishies of Southern Africa as a kid and used to read through that 100s of times.
@@under_jersea Cape st Francis is BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!! I might see you there in FEB 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Wheres the video on surfing the wild coast... KOOOOOOOOKING SURF! Can just imagine ... very jealous. If you ever fancy some spearfishing of surf up north, give me a shout!🤙
Yup a good option. Unfortunately all the fish I was seeing were in the surf zone. Further towards the bay was sand which held far fewer fish. Tbh I should have been surfing not diving!
Lekker video! I really enjoyed how you ID'd all the fish from big to small. As I am only getting into spearfishing, this helped a lot - Cheers!

We call those small fish ( 2:49 ) gorries in the Eastern Cape.
Thank you very much! Always a good day when I learn a new fish species
I would recommend diving behind the wave line further out so u don’t get surprised by the waves

Nice dive buddy..please can you share the area you dived in😊
Any point with a bay between the Kei and Port St John's during the sardine run will have similar fish life
the diving is phenomenal i would to do this but i lack the great depth of view that this water has :/
