I would disagree. I think that JoJo has the talent of vocal ability (specifically as it pertains to riffs runs and melismatic singing)......... however I don't think she has musicality. In my humble opinion, her singing is not harmonious with this piece of music. The runs almost seem to make it sound as though she is singing against the music or trying to stand above it. I know that for a lot of listeners, vocal acrobatics are the main event. You all live for rifts, run, melismas, piercing belts, soaring high notes and bellowing low notes......... But for me, I love the overall piece of music. I think the vocal Arrangement and instrumental should work in harmony to create an entire piece of work. This is why I love Mariah. She seems to be the only singer who possesses a level of musical understanding to know when to sing, how to sing and, most importantly, how to blend her voice with the instrumental arrangement to create a masterpiece

Hopefully she'll make a successful comeback one day. Mad Love was a superb album but it underperformed.
