Piercing Fang compliments Nagakiba roll catch potential | Elden Ring PvP

Piercing Fang on your Nagakiba is a pretty good setup for Elden Ring Colosseum PvP with its excellent reach and roll catching potential. Used my standard meta level 125 Dexterity build - Samurai with 60 vigor, 60 dex, 20 str, rest in endurance with powerstance Lightning Nagakibas. Hope you enjoy the video and build showcase!

Piercing fang has always been my go to on claymore or nightraider glaive. One of the best roll catch machines againat panic rollers
I love it on the claymore, so good as a mix-up with Crouch R1 and the R2

PF on claymore is so much fun - r1 into uncharged r2(rollcatch) into PF (also rollcatch). Spicy, and an honest panick roll punish combo to help folks learn roll discipline.
A cheeky and less honest combo is Ex GA with flame strike. The jumping R1 combos into the flamestrike combo pretty much perfectly, the EGAxe has pretty bonkers range.
claymore with PF is fantastic
FS greataxe is a really solid off meta option, huge damage if you land that combo!
@@VonSchnitz a vigor check indeed, pretty easy to land when you delay the JR1 and 180 it when they roll behind you I find (at least the first time)

I've been coming back into Elden Ring PvP since the DLC, and been running a build very similar to what you have here, and have been using your collection of Dual Nagakiba videos for a lot of reference!
I'm wondering if you have made any updates to this Dual Nagakiba build since the DLC and patch 1.12?
Specifically since;
1) Poise Damage of Katanas was nerfed.
2) Powerstance / Dual Wield damage was nerfed.
3) Spinning Slash was nerfed.
Would love to hear your ideas. Thank you!

Subbed to the channel! I like your content, especially as a fellow dual blades lover. I'm looking to get back into Elden Ring in preparation for the DLC and I came across this video in my search for dual katana builds.
Is there a video of you explaining your decisions of your base build, like why you chose lighting element, armor, talismans, buffs, secondaries to cover certain situations or weaknesses, etc...? Also wondering is bloodhound step still good? It was one of my favorites. I like the unsheath combos as well.
I'm looking to make an overall great pvp focused build thats still viable for pve content.
I have a 500+ level character btw if that makes a difference in your recommendations.

If your character is 500+, I'm sure you're fine using whatever you want. I've never leveled a character past 200 so I would imagine you just have 99 in all your important stats
