Is it possible that the sharp edges of that metal holder punctured the balls? They sit nicely with round ball, but when it's squished when driving, that shape no longer copies the ball shape.
thats what i was thinking also. Some of the balls looked like they burst right where they met the cradles that were holding them. Maybe making the cradles a little bigger to accommodate the squished balls might help.

Why didn't you connect the shock absorbers? That would have helped the balls out quite a bit. That is if they were new shocks. Love the channel by the way; keep 'em comin' y'all.
@Brad Allen I'm a mechanic and although I know the "springs" would have failed anyway. The shocks would have pushed back on them hopefully making them last longer. P.S I didn't mean to spell "balls" lol I'm not sure why my phone autocorrected to that; it should say "springs".🤣
I don't really recommend you doing this seems dangerous if the car lose its balance/the suspension The car will flip if the one pops really hard and you flip in other side and I don't think the car explode..
It really remembers me of when I drive a fire-fighting pickup. It has a water tank in the back, and everytime you come to a sudden stop, the vehicles balances back and forth.
He is driving from the back seat. I can only imagine what horrible things were done to this poor car before this video. and I love how he just casually stops in the middle of the road and make changes to the car and continues with the video. In Canada, if you stop in the middle of the road for some reason, the whole Army will come to rescue you.

Indoor basketballs would probably hold up better, those were cheap outdoor balls they even had barcodes printed on them, but that kinda suits this channel actually.
Garage 54's idea on how to make an air suspension: 1. Stick quite sharp sheetmetal bowls to the lower and upper side of the suspension 2. put a basketball in between, almost slicing it already 3. hope nothing will happen.. but it will 4. call it a 107% success! :-D

@@SwapBlogRU looked like some metal under there, it had 90 degree corners and made some pressure points.

I think the mounts become sharp when it pancakes over them, flatter mounts might make them last a little better?
Tyler woodring or at least curl the outer edges of each cup away from the ball so it won't be as sharp when the ball pancakes

You know theyd work better than normal brake pads until they got hot. I wouldnt use tire tread. Use a heavy duty piece of rubber.

We did this way back in 96 with 🏀. We eventually wrapped the balls with a few layers of duct tape and that helped ALOT!!!
