I try and take a light rain jacket or something water-resistant. Sometimes, you are on an excursion and get caught in a downpour. Then if you go inside to an air-conditioned building, you are freezing because you are still wet. My other item is a pouch for my phone that is also water resistant. I can't afford to replace my phone or be without it while it sits in rice to dry out.

We’ve done the water proof phone protectors and they’re super helpful.
