      Hi from Chester England.
Your vid popped up in my YT algorithms lol so I gave it a watch. And it looks like Chester USA is a mighty fine place too!
There are quite a few comparisons to be drawn betwixt the two. Historical richness, all 4 seasons, proximity to big cities (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham all from 30 - 90 mins away), food & drink, attractions - especially if you head into North Wales.
Longwood Gardens looks awesome, I would definitely visit.
Thanks for your vid & I hope you get lots of people to move there.

Most of Chester county is beautiful. If you are going to retire here, you better have ALOT of money. Transportation to Philly? There are a couple of main roads and they’re PACKED at rush hour. I’d stay away from coatsville. I could be prejudice as I had 2 windows shot out, just passing through.

Born in Philly, we moved to Westtown in 1974 when I was a child eventually settling in West Chester. My mom used to work at Chester County Hospital. I left in 1992 to go to college...this brings back memories!

I lived in chester county most of my life, moved down to Florida years back at age 25, and I’m now 28. The main thing I will say is people in chester county take life way too seriously and are way too uptight. It’s very noticeable as is much of the northern states

If you are relatively wealthy, think twice before retiring in PA. Estate and inheritance taxes are among the highest.

With all respect, your #2 (highest earners) should be #10.

Native Lancasterian here, my Paternal Great Grandma was born in Chester in 1880, but Chester City, is one part of mostly beautiful Chester County and Coatesville that I would never recommend. Overall a great video, but I will always be a Lancasterian, as Lancaster is more Conservative than Chester County.

You’re not telling people about the 4.5% inheritance tax that will come out of their hard earned money that the state of Pennsylvania will take when they die. I’m not retiring in Pennsylvania for that reason and maybe if everybody doesn’t go to Pennsylvania they’ll take away that ridiculous inheritance tax. Why should they get 4.5% of my hard earned money I’m not a wealthy person. I worked hard for it, that belongs to my children.

Well, yes. There are other taxes in PA. Every state is different and they all get their money somehow

They don't tax a lot of retirement income like pensions though. So I guess you pay less while you are alive and more when you die. Happy hour is happier when you're alive though

@@chrisd4432 I agree, happy hour is happy hour while you’re alive…. But you’re not saving that much on the money that they don’t tax in comparison to the 4.5
