Even offline still one of my all time favorite sailing channels by far! And just for the heck of it I'm liking and subscribing! This is more than a sailing channel, it's a cartography of dream sailing destinations, it's a showcase of laid back sailing professionalism. Your view on the world is such a rare and precious one, always paired with some British humor and nonchalance. I wish, you'd carry on and I thank you for the video series you've produced!
@@SailCloudyBay That would be GREAT! I could gain a lot of inspiration from your previous work, both sailing and "attitude"-wise! So, thumbs up again, and hopefully we'll see this channel continue... 🙂
Ahoy there, loving these MV and Nan vids! My uncle's been on Martha's forever. Went swimming there the same summer Jaws was filmed lol. Great footage of both these islands, I'd chose Martha's over Nantucket any day of the week. I also really like the way you show us the chart plotting and waypoints. Terrific. Hi Oana!
Mr. Soy un fiel seguidor suyo. Ya que navegó a vela costera. Por recreación. Cuánto puede costar un hermoso velero equipado como el suyo es pura curiosidad. Gracias
Great video! Before gybing single handed do you furl in the headsail? I noticed after gybing the main, you unfurled the genoa. When you were preparing, the headsail was out.
Well done. Just a clarification, Sankaty Head Lighthouse was relocated from the edge of the bluff, not rebuilt. The fascinating process can be watched here: th-cam.com/video/HhjpX5v1eYs/w-d-xo.html

Love this area. Watched the tv series, “The Affair,” which was filmed at Montauk on the East tip of Long Island.
Another fun and enjoyable video....thank you for sharing.

Cloudy must be proud at any anchorage. Not her LOA,not her value, but her capabilities, pedigree, and skipper/crew.
All those cobblestones were used as ballast on the whaling ships when Nantucket was the whaling capital of the US!
Nantucket was the "GO TO" Honeymoon destination during the Big War years.

Thanks for the comment. Correct, we have to furl the Genoa away and back out again the other side, for both gybing and tacking.

Very interesting viewing. Thanks for that. Those guys must have had a death wish walking around under that suspended lighthouse!
How long did they let you anchor at Nantucket? Thank you.
As pleasant video as always. Did anybody already asked you what is your stern pavilion ?
Pierre, the flag is the British Ensign. There are many Ensigns but this particular one represents Gibraltar, where Cloudy Bay is registered.
