Man., cool! Every vehicle I’ve purchased I always thought of being able to sleep in it. Very cool.

We’re glad you enjoyed it. Peter has had a few iterations to get to this point, and is really pleased with the current configuration of the build.

Your approach (sleep flat, full width, shelf for stuff above feet) works really well - I've used it for years for two people before my current changes. Now I have a fridge behaind the rear drivers side seat and am moving to a long drawer (anowboard sized) on the passenger side (passenger rear seat removed). This limits sleeping to one person and will have less headroom while sleeping on the drawer but will better work for solo ski area parking lot camping and interior winter gear storage. All in all sleeping in the Jeep beats a tent (ground or roof top) in so many scenarios I think it is the way to go!

Thanks for the comment and thoughts! We debated a 40/60 for the forward platform to solve for some of that. It would give the option of sleeping one and moving less gear around during the trip - a bit more flexibility in the configuration. Might make that adjustment before the winter season. Im with you, all in for sleeping in the Jeep.

Have you considered a portable diesel heater for your rig? I did a couple videos on the subject. If you never heard of such a thing, you may want to check them out.

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ve thought about those, and owned one for testing. Our preference for having a single source of power had led us to go all electric and so far we dig it. We use 12v mattress warmers for our beds and an occasional space heater for our camper when needed.
