Wow, I rarely get so excited about watching a video on TH-cam! You are doing something incredible and truly living life to the fullest. I’m eager to fulfill my childhood dream of flying, and I genuinely believe that Alaska is a magical place to make it happen. Hopefully, in the near future, I’ll find a way to make it a reality!
Thank you for taking the time to watch. I'm really trying to share my love of aviation and my love of Alaska with people just like you, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Alaska is magical. I'm not from here originally, but just like you, I realized that Alaska was the place to truly enjoy aviation. Keep following that dream. Make it a reality. Let me tell you that it's 1000% worth going for. Until then, hopefully I can keep motivating you from the cockpit of my plane, showing you what you have to look forward to. Thanks again for watching. Seriously.
I'm glad you're along for the journey! Alaska is pretty magical. It was a dream of mine for a long time to live here, and now I just want to share it with everyone.
Big Johnstone is really awesome, this was at Little Johnstone... and I know of a parcel for sale there. You'd need to talk to Kurt, but it's on the market.
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you liked this one. Seward and south are very special areas, I'm extremely fortunate to be able to fly up here. I'll keep doing my best to help you feel like you're right there with me.
Thank you! I've been really happy with the mods, it does everything that I ask it to do and fits the mission well. That said, 180's have their place, and they are fantastic airplanes. Basically my opinion is that if the aircraft fits your mission, then it's the right aircraft for you.
I watched the whole video i didn't hear you say anything about little Johnstone. Did i miss it. Is Kirk the guy that crashed the maule at Spencer glacier in 2006?
Dihedral is the upward angle of the wings (or tail surface) from a horizontal axis. Dihedral makes aircraft more laterally stable, which means they are more stable when they roll left or right.
Legally, no. Then again, there is only two fuel injected auto gas STC that I'm aware of and they're for the io-470 and the io-520. The main reason there is no STC for mogas on an injected engine is vapor lock from my understanding. That said. I don't run auto gas in anything any more. The pacer has an Auto fuel STC, I've run it before, I don't run it any more. 100LL is available in the bush, you just have to be smart about it. I've never once had an issue. Not to mention, I have huge tanks in everything that I fly, and carry fuel bags.
Man, I need to get up there soon. Great work on the video!
Thanks man. I’ll make you a deal, you make it up here and I’ll show you around. Gas is on me.

Big Johnstone Lake is so badass. I want some land out that way!

Been excited for your latest video, always full of amazing adventures!
Keep it up!!!
Thank you so much. I was really excited to launch this one. It was a great day of flying and I'm glad I got to share it with you guys.
Great show enjoyed watching 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching!
my standard comment was not enough, I will never see the views you show from your planes in person, thanks again for your channel

Great video. Very glad you resurrected that 170B and the mods have made it an excellent performer. Gorgeous. But I still love my 180. ;)

@@AdventureAK Agree 100%! :)
Nice plane and build. What did you notice in regards to your useful load?
I can say that legally the upgrades didn’t improve anything with gross weight. If that makes sense.
@@AdventureAK thanks for the feedback.

No idea 🤷♂️ might have to ask him. Most of the time I don’t name the places I fly out of respect for the other Alaskan aviators.
Dihedral is what?
Dihedral is the upward angle of the wings (or tail surface) from a horizontal axis. Dihedral makes aircraft more laterally stable, which means they are more stable when they roll left or right.
Can you burn mogas in your 210 h.p
motor?? And is avgas available out in the bush?? (In the small towns/villages.)
