I have no problem with NJ fighting against Hybe, if they are truly being mistreated by hybe, then they should fight and hold company accountable for their actions. However, the main problem is that they are fighting against Hybe because of MHJ, not because of mistreatment. If MHJ was still a part of Hybe and CEO of ADOR, then they wouldn't have say or do anything against Hybe, regardless of the treatment. @ I think the termination clause would require NewJeans to pay the compensation if they are found to have breached the contractual terms. However that would have to be legally proven (I think) for NewJeans to be required to do so. Likewise NewJeans should also able to terminate the contract if it is proven that there are breaches on Hybe/Ador’s end. As for MHJ only she will know whether she appreciates the support of NewJeans enough for her to help them. Personally I feel like that NewJeans could be better off without her.

No, the contract is not still on. It has been breached by at least one party deliberately (NJ) and by maybe one not as deliberately (Hybe). So the contract is terminated and the only question is whether there are any monetary damages owed as a result of that breach or any clauses on future rights that might survive the breach. I have no problem with NJ fighting against Hybe, if they are truly being mistreated by hybe, then they should fight and hold company accountable for their actions. As much as i absolutely love NJ , they seriously shot themselves in the foot with doing this press conference before Ador's response. Basically Ador just let them know that they are unwilling to terminate the contract and that the girls have no LEGAL reason to terminate contract.

@ I think the termination clause would require NewJeans to pay the compensation if they are found to have breached the contractual terms. However that would have to be legally proven (I think) for NewJeans to be required to do so. Likewise NewJeans should also able to terminate the contract if it is proven that there are breaches on Hybe/Ador’s end. As for MHJ only she will know whether she appreciates the support of NewJeans enough for her to help them. Personally I feel like that NewJeans could be better off without her.

No, the contract is not still on. It has been breached by at least one party deliberately (NJ) and by maybe one not as deliberately (Hybe). So the contract is terminated and the only question is whether there are any monetary damages owed as a result of that breach or any clauses on future rights that might survive the breach. And by the way, the girls have an exclusive contract with ADOR, not Hybe, at least get your parties right ffs.
For the girls to get out of their contract they will either have to convince ADOR to let them go, as in termination by mutual agreement. And that means penalties.
