This was the first album that my son heard when he was born. He calmed down when I started playing it and started eating while looking up at me. So much love ❤️

I love La Luz and their albums, but nothing beats the sound of their KEXP live performances.
I'm in love! Wow! I feel so connected to La Luz! I cried listening to them, so many emotions! healing me, healing me! If my teenage yrs riding the concrete waves had a theme, they are the kind! This music is magic, inspires me to get off my ass and paint even though I want to sit and be sad?
LOVE this band! and once again the engineers at KEXP killed it. so good.
Got into this band because of KEXP and got to see them live a year after that and met one of these wonderful ladies and I was star struck. THEY ARE SO TALENTED AND SOUND SO INCREDIBLE LIVE
La Luz's harmonies are really on point! A definite inspiration! And shoutout to Kevin for creating such an even live mix!

They nailed the California Garage Band sound circa 1967 on this album.

I cant ever make out the bass with them. I saw them live once n it felt like the bass was shut off the whole time if this just me or anybody esle catching this.
I find the bass levels are always really great with this band. It's present and focal when it needs to be but not overwhelming to the other voicings.

They have some killer riffs, just not digging the 60s sounding Organ.
