    Playlist of ancient coins cleaning: • Cleaning Constantius I...
    The cleaning method is mechanical. No chemicals are used in any part of the process.
    The liquid used for soaking is distilled water.
    Cleaning and basic coin restoration are a hobby for me. This is not my job, I'm not a pro.
    Everything I do in this video is my responsibility and at my own risk.
    If you need to restore a valuable coin - go to someone who knows what is doing :)
    Nothing in the video could be taken as a useful technique or advice.

    Can you provide specific told you used? I’m new to the hobby and want to acquire the correct tools for proper restoration and preservation.

      I'm not the correct example 😉
      I'm using "DIY" tools. In this case, a standard automatic pencil, like this one: a.co/d/cfK5y1i. The pencils are in two sizes with removed graphite and replaced with something useful.
      In 0.5mm size, I'm using needles and sewing pins as inserts.
      In 2.0mm size, I'm using toothpicks and homemade various non-ferrous inserts, like brass or aluminum ones.
      The other tools are:
      Ball vice;
      Toothbrush with shortened hair;
      Dental probe;
      Again, I'm not the right example! Just like you, I'm new to this, and I don't think anything I say could be used as advice!
