Cool looking lights, but I think if the info is displayed too close to the car, the driver might be distracted from things that are further down the road.
have been seeing matrix lights more and more on the roads, can attest - they don't blind anything at all + have seen them in action from the drivers perspective as well, it's pretty mindblowing the first time you experience driving with these high beams in the countryside and seeing EVERYTHING + seeing how quickly it blocks out oncoming traffic. Amazing tech.
They’re not blinding, that’s the whole point 🤦🏻♂️ they may be slower sometimes when turning a corner, but no slower than a driver switching beams manually.
Exactly. Every time I drive at night I feel that current headlights are extremely fatiguing and outright dangerous. All for the sake of looking cool. I hope these matrix lights do operate like people say and actually deal with this problem.

Can it display Netflix on the road while driving?
😂😂😂
sure
More interesting is how it looks in terms of other cars. Is there such a video somewhere?
You are blind for a sec.
@@Marko-hr4rj Matrix lights cut out the car on the opposite lane
Do these detect pedestrians?
They’re just out here tryna blind us all lol yellow lights caused no harm no we’re all being flatout blinded
It’s designed to provide the safety of driving with highbeams and yet not blinding others.
Did you miss the part where the lights turn off in certain spots to prevent being blinded?

Maybe the US will get this functionality in 2030 at our current speed of adoption. 🙄
Nahh make that 2050😂
Can the headlights be modified to be used in another car?
can the headlights work independently without being connected to an audi?
Youd need to hack in the control modules itd not be easy
Oh man, the reflections coming off the road are gonna bother me
That’s insane
Does it works in Europe?
I know Mercedes's Digital light works in Europe so I would guess Audi's does too!
Not in the UK. We don't have the legislation in place to allow cars to project onto the road.
You’re gonna blind someone.
Literally you’re not…that’s the entire point. Sigh…
... only in some countries, eh?
Is this the same on the Q4
Yes

@@royvan6224 no,the head lights are optional in A8 they cost around 8 lakhs for matrix leds

Fancy names to charge you money. Not that better over xenon lights.

Really !!! my last car had xenons which are old technology , they are not a patch on latest LED matrix in the new Audi's .
@@cosminstroia3379 right right...way better. Worth milions. Right...
Horse and Buggy club member?
Come on give credit where it's due... If it becomes widely available driving at night would become a delight instead of a hassle lol
