Love your Rags to Richest playthroughs. Would love to see a Grass themed one in the future. You can only grow grass and have access to anything that it directly or indirectly produces. So Grass, silage, animal feed, animals and their products, You'd also be allowed to grow anything used in animal feed. Excess crops can be sold or not, your choice.
I would love to see forestry playthrou, like using lots of forestry stuff, no super strenght all full of forest stuff with all wood production, no growing crops or animals just trees and everything with them :D for me is really hard foresting so I would love to see you doing it. Just a nice lumberjack :D
Pro tip for ya: when you're working a large rectangular field, instead of working from the outside in, start on one side, then make your next pass in the opposite direction in the MIDDLE of the field. Go back to your next pass on the outside, then turn just PAST the row you did in the middle. This way your path never gets too narrow to turn around, making life much easier.
The patchy fertilisers application is actually related to your surprise at the double fertilisation in one pass. You ploughed under grass to create your fields which creates them with 1 stage fertilisation and your spreader was doing second coat. The patches are where the weeds were in the initial meadow, they didn't get a first fert, so your spreader applied coat one. All working as intended, no issues with any of the mods. I just ignore it, not worth another pass. It will always happen cycle one of an ex-meadow field
They do have a mod out that is an apt building that brings in money each mth for you. the building looks old school so, it might be a cool add for you. I don't remember how much it generates each mth but hey, who said farming just had to be about tilling land. Every farmer in the Midwest needs something generating money in the winter mths when it's all snowy and nothing is growing... just a thought... would help the town grow when you add some industrial buildings..

The next version of this game needs to be harder...I would like to see a family dynamic as well as a stricter money system. You should have to pay income tax every year on the money you make as well as property tax based on the land you own. It forces you to plan and not expand to quickly. I would also like to see equipment get repair detail as well as property maintenance. When i play survival games I take my taxes out property and income as well as write off portions of my equipment...its way more fun
Right. I think you hit the nail on the head. I think they should add a survival mode with all the things you are talking about. Would be insanely addictive
That's a unique take. How much do you tax yourself? I would like to see visible damage to go along with the repair details that can be paid as separate repairs.
didn't start with 0, but i did start from scratch, but man seems getting decent money is hard, maybe beet farming wasn't the best idea, the harvesters are too costly (even when just leasing). i also bought a sugar plant which seems to be a huge mistake. seems the best way to make money is not have your own farm and just do jobs. i dont like the game.
I'm honestly not familiar with your content, but I think it would make it more interesting if you started with less land. Maybe something like the part around your house, which was basically a forest at the beginning. Gets a little mundane when you can always just sell more grass/silage when you need money.
Lime is a neutralizer. So, the more you put down the better the field will be. takes multiple placements of lime so by the end of the year you might have it to 100% yield.
The price of that chicken coop is absurd. I have right at 70 chickens. They all roost in the same coop at night. Cost me a little over 2k to buy all the materials and build it. 25k is absurd!
