- Have you always wanted to play open guard seated like Gordon Ryan? Look no further, in this video I show a mini system that I learned from Gordon so you can make your opponents scared to stand in front of you! This video has a lot of information in a short amount of time, so I suggest watching it in one sitting the first time then when you’re ready to drill it, drill each piece separately. Once you get everything down pretty good start to chain everything together and that is where you will truly build a system!
Make sure to tune in March 19th, 11AM MST for the CBJJA In House Tournament! This event is going to be insane!

Lmk how it goes!
@@theukebjj will do
Good joob fella
Thank you!
Subbed
Thank you my man!
Love the systems-
Any chance on SLX?
Good idea!
Loved this. Quick question, can you explain the concept behind "if they're leading with their right leg, you must keep your right leg forward" and vice-versa. Well done!
Sure! If you lead with the wrong leg it makes it easier for your opponent to step past your legs toward your backside and pass or expose your back.
@@theukebjj ahhh ok, that's what I thought. This is really good stuff. Thanks!
I’m late to the party but this is great
I appreciate it! Glad it could help!
Nice video. Thank you for some very useful techniques.-White belt out
Appreciate it!
beutiful video
Thank you man!
in your opinion, which is the most common foot sweep that youve hit in comps?
The most common one I’ve hit would definitely be the dummy sweep 🧹!
nice
Thank you!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
what if the standing opponent grabs your feet/ankles?
Arm drag is a great option
whats the point of doing the dummy sweep if you basically just reversed the positions?
Get points and come up to top position!
@@theukebjj thanks!
Oh idk maybe apply pressure? Pass guard? Work to side/full mount and make them suffer? Maybe even get a tap? Seated guards are great but dont undervalue being on top position
What if he turns the other way?
What part are you referring too?
@@theukebjj so in your video the uke is moving to the hook side but what if they move to the side with your leg up
If they move to the side with your leg up then you can use the shin on shin option pretty well!
Awesome vid. The monitoring at the end is just 🤌🤌
I do find all these right foot techniques offensive 😜🦿
Thanks for your content man it’s truly appreciated. I’ll send you footage of my first tournament on the 2nd if I get any good ones 🤞
I would love that! Thanks for the support!
