  • In this episode we visit the village of Penacook, New Hampshire - part of the capital city of Concord. Penacook was the first notable location on the Northern Railroad between Concord and White River Junction, Vermont.     Lots of good memories of going to Penacook when I worked for the New England Southern. So much railroad history in Penacook. You did a nice job!

    Nicely done and great memories. As an engineer, my father always used the Hannah Dustin Monument as a waypoint - he knew exactly when he should be going by her on the way to WRJ.

    Another really well presented informative video.. your channel is excellent. Those young fellas that shot the lock off the switch stand, while seemingly fun at the time, are very fortunate that there were no deaths in the derailment. Thank for you sharing this segment..really well done.

    That Trackmobile used at the mill was a 5 TM model that they started selling in the 1960s. There are still hundreds in service
