    I always use eggcrate foam in my enclosures. I like the way it sounds done that way.

    I love this!!...Always a good inspiration to get to work on my own build! Is it possible to show how you wire the second battery and what you use to "switch charge" (i don't know what the thing is called in english) because i am debating to put a second battery in as well...grtz from the Netherlands..

    Would you use egg crate foam in a sealed enclosure only ? Or also for ported ?

    would you recommend that acoustic material in all sealed subboxes?

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It makes no difference, it’s just visual.

    What kind of glue?

    Peter. Amazing video. Just wondering, when u have your puzzle pieces. What kind of glue do you use to hold those small pieces of plywood together at that point? Going to attempt this process. Thanks so much for the amazing content. Cheers.

      Hi
      We just use industrial hot glue, then the milkshake makes the super rigid bond.

    • @kylebetchuk2114

      @pssound9749 thats what i thought. So excited to try this technique. Gonna try this in the spring. Cold here in canada. Your videos have made this winter more entertaining. Thanks Pete!

    I usually put eggcrate foam i my enclosures too, have made some, then added the foam, i think it helps "thighten" up the bass, not having messured it, just what i feel/think

  • @williamupdegrove5340
    @williamupdegrove5340 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So you put down fiber filler first, then the milkshake.

  • @evansteeves5888
    @evansteeves5888 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Anybody from Canada succeed in finding the egg crate style foam that Peter applies inside the box? Saw it in another video where Peter also put it on the door cards, did lots of research and can’t find a similar readily available product 😭

    Instead of milkshake, could you use tiger hair?

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it’s not just about sealing, but bonding structurally too.

    PA clue is the most worst clue used for wood !! it breaks apart because its to brittle

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      lacossa nostra this one is designed for wood bonding especially. I’m sure thousands of carpenters use it for the wrong reason in the UK, right? 😀

    • @justkiddin1980
      @justkiddin1980 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You do know that the PA glue bond never breaks because the wood usually is weaker then the glue bond right?

    • @stevegillatt8731
      @stevegillatt8731 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      PA glue is much stronger than the wood itself.
