Ha! I just had my first baby and WAY over ordered my size 1! I was accounting for only using cloth half time since I also planned to use disposable overnight whoops! I thought 15 is what i actually needed lol. Wish I had seen this a few months ago
People forget that cloth diapers were the norm for a very very long time, and even when disposables were on the market they were initially so expensive
All 6 of my babies were cloth diapered from birth, starting in 2006. All potty learned by 20 months. Thinking the cd has something to do with it, because I've never had to even approach potty "training."
fellow cloth diaper user, i’ve used inserts, all in ones, and flats…different experiences with each but overall night leaks were our largest pain point! to resolve now we use green mountain flats with a nora nursery bamboo insert and any diaper cover and our 14 month old no leaks through the night and no rash! the only time we’ve been able to cloth diaper full-time 🙌😮💨 heading over to your stripping diaper video now bc i need to do that soon!
Oh that’s so amazing to hear! I have heard wonderful things about both green mountain and Nora nursery. I almost bought from both back when I first got started! I may have to try that combo for nighttime with my next baby! Thank you for sharing your experience with cloth!
😂 okay. I may try again this year. I have a good clean detergent as well and haven't tried hanging them out since i started using it. Maybe using a chemical detergent is what caused it. Thank you. I love your channel. Please keep sharing it inspires me and encourages me to keep trying
I cloth diaper as well. At our old place i had a clothes line to hang up diapers but since we have moved i havnt fot one up yet. Hoping it happens this spring. My question is, where did you get and what is the cart you use to take your clothes out to the line. Also, i want to hang more than clothes on the line but hate fabric softner. Any suggestions on what i can do to help with that crunchy feel in clothes. My husband hates that.
Hi Giannie! So awesome y’all cloth diaper as well! My cart is from my in-laws that they got at an antique auction so unfortunately I can’t link nor can I find a similar one! I’ve been looking for a comparable one! And as far as hanging all our other clothes I’ve never had ANY problems with our clothes feeling crunchy after hang drying. Only towels will do that. I don’t use any softener in our wash just detergent. I’m currently using a brand defunkify but I’ve used a wide variety of detergent and never had an issue with crunchy feeling clothes! So I’m not sure I have any advice for that! Our towels do feel that way though and my husband hates that feeling too. So I just dry our towels in the dryer 😂
@@Laurablushing oh I hate that for you and your sweet baby! Have you tried stripping them lately?! I’ve not dealt with many rashes (minus ammonia burns once) so I don’t have much advice there!
It was great until she was about 13 months! Then she decided she prefer not to be held to go to the bathroom 😂. That independence!! So she goes sometimes to it on her own but sometimes still in diapers. I still use less diapers than my other 2!!

Happy Monday! I’ve heard great things about assembly. Our family loves just old fashioned flats and covers ❤
Thank you!! Hope your week is off to a great start as well! We started with the same method (flats and covers) and I loved that as well!
Expecting our 3rd baby and trying to learn as much as I can about cloth diapers… thanks for the great information!
So exciting!! Congratulations on baby #3! And you are welcome!

That’s so awesome that there was not real training!! I think it helps so much as well!

I’ve got to strip our diapers again in this next month before new baby! It’s such a satisfying process!!

I hope it works! I’ve really never had had trouble with crunchy clothes!!-just towels!
And thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement! 💕💕
I had at least 1 child in diapers for 15 years. Was only exclusively cloth for about 7 of that but it saved a lot of money.
How awesome!! I know so much money was saved!!

Im struggling with diaper rash and my cloth diapers. No matter how frequently I change them.

@@AmmieHarris I'll try stripping them and see if that helps! Thank you 💕
Thanks for sharing your insights!
Glad it was helpful! 💕

How is it going with elimination communication?
