I have to jump on this dickie train when I moved to Texas I tried one of these other barbecue places here in town and I was very displeased and it was expensive. So I wanted to try dickeys I just gave up barbecue places well they sent me a thing on my email for a free barbecue brisket sandwich. So I went ahead and got it. Let it sit at home in the tinfoil for like 2 1/2 hours before I even ate it. I heated it up in the microwave and whenever I got eaten that brisket sandwich I realized then just how good Dickey is come to find out all of their food is just amazing
Although Dickeys has a big webpage, but there is no method to voice your opinions and suggestions to management. I have been eating at Dickeys since the early 1950s, in Dallas. A number of years ago we moved to Madison, Mississippi. When Dickeys opened three stores here we were elated, but on our last visit the attitude of all employees and managers was less than positive. I might try one more time, but if things are not better, I will forget about Dickeys. I might also say that theses stores do not offer the same product as my last visit to Dallas. Good luck, and I would like a response, if this gets to management`.
except for that little attempted manslaughter incident where they mixed LYE ()a deadly cleaning agent) with their Iced tea. A woman in Sault Lake City received horrific life altering injuries and will never be able to eat or drink normally again. No one was ever charged !!!!!! BOYCOTT NEVER EAT AT ANY DICKEYS BBQ
I met "Dickey" once. I asked him several questions about barbequen'. He didn't have the time to give a tip or two. He was a jerk. I thought his name appropriate. If you must resort to this chain in Tx. for smoked proteins, it's a sad day.
Mandi W That's the same with my location. Brisket is always dry, bbq sauce is just meh and not to mention overpriced. Id rather eat at Phil's BBQ in San Diego. That's where it's at!
Nah it aint DIckies..dont do em like that..It all depends on whos behind the pit bro think of Dickies as a platform for those tryna throw it down behind the smoke n fire...n some if that fine slow cooking..thats my opinion its fire where i live at shoutout LOS ANGELES. CA
Bought some of their "hot links" today at the grocery store. I'm on a diet but the package said it was only 140 calories per link. There were 4 in the package and I figured I could treat myself to one a day no problem. I got it home, cooked one up and was like... man, that looks like a lot of fat for only 140 calories. I double checked the package. Yes, it says 140 calories... PER HALF LINK. WTF kind of deceptive packaging is that?! Who eats a half a link?! Makes you wonder what else they might be deceptive about... like what it is actually made of, for example. Btw, I'm not the type that can toss out food... hence the need to diet, lol. So, I did eat one. It was okay but not great.
This review may be 3 years old, but it was stale when it was uploaded! No self-respecting Texan would say that their brisket is good! It is dry, it is chewy, and it has no flavor. The turkey and chicken are dry, tasteless, and useless. You have to drown the pulled pork in sauce to get any flavor. I never tried the ribs, the did not look appetizing the 3 times I went in. The only redeeming items on the menu are the jalapeno cheese sausage, baked potato casserole, fried okra, and sometimes the corn muffins. @I Eat Houston I think you need to turn in your Texan card after this review. I know the guy that runs the place was in front of you and the food was probably free, but you overpaid for it! He shoulda dropped you a bill just for your loss of credit in the BBQ world by calling this shit good. Shame on you sir!
