There's an article on ndtv called 'Exclusive Details Of How Air Force Raided A Pak Air Base, Destroyed 5 Jets '. There's the link in video description. I always list my sources and if they are wrong, so am I.
⚠️One important note! In 1971, during the conflict that led to the loss of Bangladesh, the renowned legendary American fighter pilot Chuck Yeager who was there in Pak at that time acknowledged the exceptional performance of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Despite the significant numerical advantage held by the Indian Air Force (IAF), Yeager stated that the PAF achieved an impressive kill ratio of 3:1 against its adversaries after himself counting the total downed wrackages. He stated on his personal website which you can access even today and also wrote in his biograhy book "yeager" about that war which he witnessed and said that The Pakistanies wiped their asses in the sky. Indians had freshly inducted soviet lastest supersonic mig21s and Su-7 bombers. And India lost 100 plus jets while pakistan lost only 34 of their outdated sabres and limitedly capable f104s And f86 which were in less numbers as well. He expressed his admiration for the professionalism and skill exhibited by PAF pilots during this challenging time. The PAF's superiority was also evident in the 1965 war, where it outperformed the IAF despite facing overwhelming odds. More recently, in 2019, the PAF showcased its capabilities once again by shooting down two jets including SU30 and mig 21 , reinforcing its reputation as a formidable air force. The consistent excellence of the PAF across different conflicts highlights its enduring strength and professionalism.
Leave this case aside. The bravery of sqdn ldr Devayyiya came into light through Pakistani Pilot only and that too after he retired from PAF. Then only IAF'S top brass were awaken and took action. Sqdn ldr A B DEVAYYIYA was awarded MVC ( POSTH ) in 1988 for his feat in 1965. KAISER TUFFAIL is a very nice person. He's not bias. He saved Flt Lt NACHIKETA from certain death. He behaved just like senior should behave with his junior. He wrote a book " A HARD NUT TO CRACK" on IAF's only PVC Fg Offr NJ S SEKHON. He wrote, " SOME ENEMIES ARE ALSO RESPECTABLE ".
Thanks for the feedback! That's a bit hard to do since we don't have all the proper assets in currently available simulations (exact variants of aircraft and ammo used). Maybe in the future.
Yeah! It was that much failed that we got Abhinandan prisoner and IAF was so confident that they destroyed their own helicopter killing 7 poor soldiers in friendly fire😂😂😂 Moreover, Mudi compelled to say"result would be different if we had Rafael" 😂😂😂😂😂
For now, probably not as I don't think there are enough assets in WT for it. There's a new game by an Indian developer which is all about the naval part of the campaign. It looks a bit raw but if they refine it, it might be useful for something like that.

Dear Showtime112, I have been following your channel for a good many years and I admire and respect your re-enactments. They are top quality. However, I am sorry to say but that I have noticed that your recent India v Pakistan videos have had a pro-India bias. When I started following your channel, you showed a good balance between India and Pakistan but then a lot of indians started complaining that you were showing too many Pakistani victories. Since then I've noticed that your last couple of videos have been mainly indian victories. I would be grateful you would re-balance the coverage by showing a round of Pakistani victories now (and there are plenty of them). You may wish to consider showing the following: - 1965 PAF strike on IAF air base in Pathankot which destroyed India's mig-21 fleet in 1965 (carried out by no.19 sqdn PAF) - 1965 PAF strike on IAF air base in Kalaikunda which destroyed IAF's canberra's (carried out by no 14 sqdn - they became known as "the tail choppers" as quite literally they chopped off the tails of India' canberra's which were parked side-by-side) - 1965 PAF mission in which MM Alam shot down upto 5 IAF hunters over Sargodha air base -1 965 PAF mission where 2 F-86 sabres shot down 4 IAF Vampires over the Chamb battlefield (resulting in the complete withdrawal of the IAF's fleet of vampires from the war theatre) - 1971 PAF strike misson of Mirage 3's ground attack strike on Indian Railway yard at Mukerian, resulting the destruction of India's tanks, fuel, and other supplies awating transportation on trains. You referred to a book " The Story Of The Pakistan Air Force. A Saga Of Courage And Honour" as a reference point in this video (I have a copy of the same book) and all the listed PAF victories are covered in this book. So, you can use this same book as your reference point for showing some PAF victories. I look forward to looking at some Pakistani air to air and air to ground victories. Thank you.
Thank you for this elaborate comment! It is very tough to maintain a balance between Indian and Pakistani videos, I can tell you that 😁 Those two in a row were done because it took me a lot of time to unlock the Hunter and because I came across these two missions flown by the same pilots so it seemed like a nice package. Btw, I got these stories primarily from Kaiser Tufail, a Pakistani. Even this video actually mentions a Pakistani kill over an Indian Hunter but I think you might like the next one better. To cover more stories from Indo-Pak Wars, I need to grind WT a bit more to unlock Sabre, B-57 and F-104. It will take some time but at least some topics you mention will be covered.
@@showtime112 Thank you for your reply. Well, I very much look forward to the next Pakistan India video although I think you will need to make at least two big ticket Pakistani victory videos in a row now following the hunter videos. You have plenty of engagements to choose from the list that I outlined and the reference source which you used for this video - PAF A saga of courage and Valour - provides informative material on the 1965 war operations. Also, please note that the 1971 PAF strike on Indian rail yard at Mukerian may well be covered by Kaiser Tufail. It was headed by Wing Commander Hakimullah who later became PAF Air Chief. The strike force consisted of 4 Mirage 3 on a bombing mission. Thank you.
Showtime 112..this is my last message on this ridiculous depiction of the narrative of this Mission. The Government of India, our Ministry of Defence and the Indian Air Force are no fools not to acknowledge the success of this Mission. The reason for not acknowledging the ' kills' is that it never did happen. No gun camera supported the ' kills'.nor did any mission member ever make a mention of these ' kills'. I would strongly urge you to remove this post.
Well, if you can give me one single logical reasons why the Pakistani side would invent such a thing? Warring sides usually exaggerate their victories and downplay their losses, not the other way around. If Kaiser Tufail says that your attack caused the loss of five Sabres on the ground, I believe him. Nobody says that anybody on the Indian side was a fool. Just that BDA is not easy. Gun camera doesn't tell you what happened five minutes later and you couldn't exactly stick around over a well defended enemy airfield for a while and see if 'maybe these airplanes we hit would catch a fire, and maybe this fire will spread to more airplanes, and maybe they will all burn down'. I usually ask anyone who criticizes my videos to be specific. You for some reasons are just very vague. I understand that this can't look exactly as you remember, due to limitations of the platform this couldn't be achieved even if you had cooperated and described every single detail as you remember. I am puzzled by your attitude and I can't imagine the proper reason but your comments (and my replies) are here for everyone to make their own conclusions. My respect to you and all the other aviators who participated in this conflict.

Can you make a video on Indian MiG-21s attacking the Dhaka government building during the war? It was a last second decision by the high command given to the MiG-21s armed with rockets instead of bombs, which would've otherwise done other sorties. The attack was so effective that the governor in the building instantly resigned and took refuge under a UN hotel

Interesting story. I didn't know Yeager was here once. Wonder what he was doing here.

It’s too bad that the Indians were not as ingenious as the Pakistanis were. While the Pakistanis installed AIM9 missiles on their older aircraft, the Indians who had access to French missiles could have used them on the Hunter.
The Indians were much more ingenious lol. Just in different ways. The Battle of Longewala, where 120 Indian soldiers and 2 jeep borne anti tank guns went up against 2 Pakistani Mobile infantry brigades consisting of more than 2000 soldiers, around 40 tanks, a field regiment and 2 artillery batteries, and WON. They held them back till the morning when IAF could send air support. 35 tanks destroyed, around 500 vehicles abandoned, hundreds killed and the rest injured and retreated, for the loss of 2 Indian soldiers, 1 recoilless rifle, and the biggest casualty were 5 camels lmao.

Thanks Showtime love the history

Dear Showtime112, I have been following your channel for a good many years and I admire and respect your re-enactments. They are top quality. However, I am sorry to say but that I have noticed that your recent India v Pakistan videos have had a pro-India bias. When I started following your channel, you showed a good balance between India and Pakistan but then a lot of indians started complaining that you were showing too many Pakistani victories. Since then I've noticed that your last couple of videos have been mainly indian victories. I would be grateful you would re-balance the coverage by showing a round of Pakistani victories now (and there are plenty of them). You may wish to consider showing the following:
- 1965 PAF strike on IAF air base in Pathankot which destroyed India's mig-21 fleet in 1965 (carried out by no.19 sqdn PAF)
- 1965 PAF strike on IAF air base in Kalaikunda which destroyed IAF's canberra's (carried out by no 14 sqdn - they became known as "the tail choppers" as quite literally they chopped off the tails of India' canberra's which were parked side-by-side)
- 1965 PAF mission in which MM Alam shot down upto 5 IAF hunters over Sargodha air base
-1 965 PAF mission where 2 F-86 sabres shot down 4 IAF Vampires over the Chamb battlefield (resulting in the complete withdrawal of the IAF's fleet of vampires from the war theatre)
- 1971 PAF strike misson of Mirage 3's ground attack strike on Indian Railway yard at Mukerian, resulting the destruction of India's tanks, fuel, and other supplies awating transportation on trains.
Thank you.
@@showtime112 Make a video on Nirmaljit Sekhon. He single-handedly defended himself against 6 sabres and shot down 2 of them.
Jai Hind
Dude seriously this attack is the highest😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the most effective counter-air airstrike by the Indian Air Force, as far as I could find. I could be wrong though.
