Pinoy Joyride - Ligaya Drive (Talisay-Tagaytay) Joyride

This video covers from Talisay Batangas to Tagaytay City Cavite via the Ligaya Drive. It is a steep short route around 7km ending at Tagaytay - Calamba Road.
There is a longer route and safer way to pass but lets try this one and experience Ligaya! Ligaya means Joy or Happiness in Filipino/ Tagalog Word.
Be careful with the steep sharp curves, there are accidents that happen here and in the video you will see one. On this road you can also have a nice view of Taal Volcano.
Road Condition - Good paved roads

Security - Populated road with many residential houses / communities

galing kami batangas city going tagaytay, ito ang itinurong daan ni google maps, via star tollway-talisay exit. 1st time kong nadaan dito, d ko akalain na ganito pala ito katarik pataas at pabulusok pababa, parang mas matindi pa 'to kesa sa kennon rd. buti nalang at naka-kondisyon ang sasakyan, this video reminds me of that memorable ride, thanks for sharing this!

Mas matindi pa yan sa Kennon Road, grabe yung mga steep blind curve dyan lalo na pag paakyat ka. Naka drive na ako all the way to Ilocos and Leyte eto talaga pinaka matarik na nadaanan ko so far. Walang binatbat yung kennon at bituka ng manok dyan.
Maganda lang di ganong karami ang kurbada katulad ng ibang zig zag roads.

The terrain from kennon and here is different, kennon still has those "swabe" slopes but this one was like it was made for the sake of the road to be pass to. But it was a ligayang ligaya ride hahahahaha!

Dto kmi dumaan kahapon feb 14 2021 from tagaytay pababa p punta batangas nag punta kc kmi lakeside nabigla ako sa mga curve at taas ng mga uphill. Kaya nung babalik n ult kmi ng tagaytay pa akyat humanap ako ng ibang way dina kmi sa ligaya road dumaan 2 kanto mula ligaya road dun ako lumiko pero grabe din ang akyatin 3beses ako na matayan ng makina dhil hirap ahunin buti at kinaya ng adventure 7adults 1 child. Thnks God nka uwi nman kmi ng safe🙂
