- Another dream ride accomplished! This is the Benguet Nueva Vizcaya Road, from Aritao Nueva Vizcaya going up the mountainous zig zag curved roads passing towns of Kayapa , Bokod up to Ambuklao ending in Baguio City. In this route one could see the beautiful mountains of the Cordillera Mountain Range and the nice vantage point of Ambuklao Dam. Along the road see the Agno River and Santa Cruz River. This route has many curves and the road pavement was good. It was a long drive from Aritao to Baguio.
Road Condition - Good paved roads and many zig zags / curve roads. Possible to get dizzy :-)
Drive thrill - Relaxing trail, enjoy the views, open the windows, cold breeze in most parts of the ride / few incoming cars
Security - So far safe driving on daylight / I don't know about evening, many towns along the route

Watching from Dallas, Texas, U.S. I remember this road way back in 1978 from Baguio to Aritao, then Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. The road was one unpaved one lane. It took us 6 hrs I think to travel through the sides of the mountains. Such a big improvement now. Taga Solano ako. Maganda na pala ang highway ngayon. Next time I go home next year I'll try this route. Thank you for the joy ride.

Nag road trip din kami dito papuntang Baguio at dumaan kami dito sa Kayapa last May 24, 2015 kasama ang family ko pero di kami puwedeng mag take picture sa mga tanawin dahil malakas ang ambon at makapal pa ang fogs sa daan kaya extra careful sa pagdadrive.
Napanood ko rin yung video clips mo from Nueva Vizcaya bound to Isabela - Isabela to Tuguegarao city. Nag road trip din po kami djan last year. 😊👍👌👍😊

I drove this road in the other direction a few days ago (April 2016) - a stunningly good driver's road. Some of those canted bends and the cut out corners - wow. Even in a rented Toyota Vios, it was fun fun fun! The road was engineered by an artist!!

i traverse this road 20 years ago and it took me almost 8 hours. marami kasi landslides at road constructions. now fully paved na sya.. thanks for uploading. maybe i try to re-visit soon..

I had pass Nueva Viscaya once and during that time I said to myself this is more beauriful than Baguio, mountains on your left and right at the same time everywhere I look are mountains so beautiful , the trees that cool the earth awesome and stunning view God made them all . Hopefully I can go there sometime soon.So close to nature , so close to our creator.

It's so refreshing to see those lovely pine trees! by the way I've noticed that unlike in marilaque highway, there are fresh waterfalls alongside the roads, here the mountains looks dry and stony.
Hello sir, nung dumaan kami good weather po... I think meron waterfalls kapag malakas na ang ulan or may naipon na tubig sa taas... Meron po mga waterfalls along this stretch pero baka walang tubig masyado kaya mahina lang siya at malamang maraming fog/mist.
@@dmitrivalencia Hello Sir, Have you ever filmed the route from Bambang to Baguio, leaving Bambang on Heroes Blvd, crossing the Santa Cruz River and then following the Santa Cruz River to the west, till it intersects the Benguet Nueva Vizcaya Road around Kayapa. You're darn right, nothing to be scared of while plying this route even at night,the mountain folks r not at all hostile but r helpful nd friendly, in some parts of N.V.,Nuev. Ecija nd Pang.,people throw stones at buses for no reason at all !!

just passed this road recently,..baguio to aritao,..correct ka dyan sir dim...never ending curve...some of my passenger felt dizzy,...pero enjoy naman ang byahe for the scenery...

I enjoyed driving on this road last feb vacation from Tuguegarao 8:30am to Baguio09:00 pm around, me single driver many stop overs with my family , its more fun and happiness in Philippines,,..
Love your videos man and you have an excellent driving skills especially at zig zag roads and sharp mountain curves. If you can still do future joy ride videos i suggest you should try the Murcia-Don Salvador Benedicto Pandanon- San Carlos Road in Negros Occidental it cuts your journey from 5 to 2 hours. I tried it before less cars go there plus it has breathtaking scenery and view of Mount Kanlaon and the Negros Mountain Range.

Thank you dmitrivalencia channel for sharing this, we have not had a long road trip for a long time and you made us feel we were travelling once more. Watched this while lying on the couch with my godson Daniel and fellow band mate in MORE THAN BIOLOGICAL around 0230H finished the 1st part and will finish this on another time, just about to sleep. Nice and relaxing the mind before going to sleep and even helped me fall asleep. Now I will sleep with good dreams because of this video you shared. I noticed though of some double yellow lines that you made some overtaking, this are sharped and blind curves that is not good for other drivers to see specially the younger ones, dangerous moves and not safe, please stay safe we want to see more of your videos. I just watched a few days ago of bikes and one SUV getting hit by overtaking vehicles on solid road lines on sharp curves. God bless you

try the sta fe to san nicolas, pangasinan route, via brgy. Malico, Imugan.. it's just a 45 km drive of pure Adrenalin rush and cliff hanger tour, a combination of cemented road, dirt road, high cliffs, full of danger zones! but the best view ..ever!

Thanks for sharing sir. I hope you can also try the Nueva Vizcaya-Ifugao-Mountain Province Road which connects to Halsema Highway in Bontoc. Sobrang ganda ng views, specially yung portion from Banaue to Bontoc.

You should try joyriding to Bangkong Kahoy Valley in Kinabuhayan Dolores Quezon...lots is steep incline, curves, nature and some dirt road.

dmitrivalencia yes, it's very safe...it's a nature reserve in Mt. Banahaw. If you're going to use google map, look for the directions to kinabuhayan elementary school... the jumpoff point to Bangkong Kahoy is just 100 meters from the school. 2.5 to 3hrs from makati including traffic in san pablo laguna. Happy driving!
btw, i just returned home from there yesterday. I always tell my friends/passengers that the locals there are rebels...never fails to get a scream from them everytime they see a farmer with a bolo along the road (ala wrong turn movie)...hahaha

eto ba yung daan sa baguio - to kayapa - aritao up to bambang, grabe ang ganda na ah, kase dati naka daan kame dito halos 6 hours na puro zigzag ang daan at wala manlang bahay or gas station. at ang ilang part nito lalo na sa may bambang ba yun eh offroad pa.
mga 3 to 4 hours lang pala
Dumaan narin kami dyan ang kaso inabot kami ng gabi mahirap sya pag gabi madilim iilang lang ung part na may ilaw,akala namin 2 hours lang parang kenon road mas malayo pala.

Nice video Sir! just want to give some info to sir Neil.. im from that area and i can say that buses can pass through that road.. Actually some PUB from Baguio can pass through that going to N. Viscaya, Isabela and Kabayan municipality where you can find the mummy..

Neil Asher Sia the route from Baguio to Ambuklao is not that dangerous, but from Ambuklao to Aritao is a little challenging but with drivers who are familiar with that place there will be no problem at all :-) enjoy the sights and take pictures and videos hehehehe!
