Best video I've seen on the C line. It's so satisfying to see the train pass by all the stopped and slow traffic on the freeway. It was even faster than the carpool lane at times. It seems the train travels slower on those southern stations before it gets on the 105 median. I wonder why. I did read that LA Metro got some federal funding a couple of years ago to replace the catenary overhead lines and expand the four southern station platforms to match the platform lengths on the K line stations so they're capable of accepting 3 car trains. I saw that the future tracks are there, too, for the C line to go north. Very exciting. Any idea when the reconfiguration for both lines will happen? Thanks
Thanks! I haven’t been on the C Line yet so it’s nice to see. And are there, or were there, plans to go further south than Redondo Beach or further east than Norwalk?
There are plans to extend south to Torrance, and east to Norwalk/santa fe springs Metrolink but these won’t be done anytime in the near future unfortunately
I love this video!! I've noticed that there are lots of p3010's on the C Line right now as well as some p2000's.

probably whenever the lax stations open up is when they’ll reconfigure the lines. my best guess would probably be sometime next year

It will always be the Green Line to me.
I’m sure it will for a lot of us, letters have so much less character

@@skip-4259 ah thats so far in advance 😢
Thank you for these videos, it’d be really cool if there was a little graphic on the side to show the progress
Of course! I’ll have to look and see how I could make a graphic like that, thanks for watching! 😃
