All right my brother Stephen.... When it comes to AC⚡DC, you will always encounter high voltage rock and roll. The energy of both lead singers, be at Bon or Brian, are never disappointing.‼️💯🔥🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Great Aussie boys, 3 born in Scotland and raised in Australia 🇦🇺!! I saw these brilliant guys so many times in the mid 70’s as a teenager in Melbourne with the one and only Bon, their best front man for me! So much charisma that man had, and even in that era when we could easily go backstage, we never did as we didn’t want to get into any trouble or be swept off our feet, we were too young but still recognised what Bon was like. He was a lovely guy though, always interacted with the crowd. I must have seen them at least 7 times as we would go every time they played as we loved their music so much. Bon, such a legend in this country still!!
Angus Young was once asked in an interview if he was the best guitarist in the world and he responded with, “I’m not even the best guitarist in my own band”. He was referring to Malcolm.
You need to check out "Friday On My Mind" by the Easybeats , an Australian rock band from the 60s. Their rhythm guitarist was none other than George Young, the older brother of Angus and Malcom.
In fact, it was a two-star/two-frontmen band in the Bon Scott era - Bon and Angus took turns taking centre stage in a very fluid ballet (saw them in '79). And the audience was loving both so much! After Bon, it was more "Angus and the other four".
This is an Aussie programme called COUNTDOWN ,,,Even better ,,,, look up them up doing “ Baby please don’t go “ on Countdown !!! You’ll laugh at Bon 🎸🎸🎸🎸
The title of this song comes from an animated cartoon, Beany and Cecil! The villain, Dasterdly Dan I believe, had a business card that read Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap!
true story. even though Mal' was rhythm guitar, he actually supported Angus during solos. any time Angus missed or fell short, Mal' covered it just like a big brother should.. legends they are!
AC/DC were the kings of straight-up fun rock n roll! With the holidays coming up, you should check out Small Town Titans doing a rock version of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" - certified banger!!!!
I saw them in Nov 79 in Charlotte NC. $7 general admission tickets. Bon came down on the floor with Angus on his shoulders. I was standing right in front of the stage. It was wild. Girls throwing their bras on the stage. Yes topless. Best concert ever! 🔥🎶🔥🎵
Awesome reaction 💪🏼👏🏼👍🏼 Yeah early ACDC you can't beat it , I love watching bands like this , you know iconic bands that made it to super stardom , and then watch her earlier stuff you know back when they were hungry you can see the drive passion to play and create music , but yeah , as far as Malcolm Young , any of the documentaries or interviews I've seen of the band ACDC , Malcolm he was the main song writer coming up with the power iconic riffs and hooks , Keep up the good work 💪🏼 👍🏼 🇺🇸🫡✌🏽 OUT PS-AC DC has some awesome BON SCOTT stuff on THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL Just saying 💯🎯🔥👌🏼😎
Great vlog as always! It was Malcom who was the boss of AC/DC. The same is true for Van Halen. Alex was the boss. Big brothers looking out for «baby» brothers.
I hope you can forgive the fact, that I'll probably be laughing on and off through the evening, at the thought of tuning in one day to find you sat there in a leopard skin vest 🤣😂 Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you could totally pull it off 🤣 This was fun, thanks. ✌❤
ACDC shows are a complete workout! Angus is a beast. And, yes, Malcolm was the band so to speak. He formed it, ran it…everything! He told Angus that because he was so small, Malcolm wanted to shoot him out of a cannon. Lol
They say that about Malcolm Young because he was So consistent. He helped come up with simple HARD deep rythyms that carried all their songs. His tempo, timing and drive along with the Bass guitar, and Phil Rudd on the drums. Phil kept time So well without playing like Neil Peart? Their music doesn't call for a Neil Peart drummer? That's why there are buttons,T-shirts, Bumper stickers, etc. that say simply,"AC/DC Hard Driving Rock and Roll", and I think that sums them up perfectly!!!
Let's Gooo!First 😅 Such a freaking banger 🙌 I saw them live in Toronto in 03 at Sarstock and the ground was literally shaking. 500,000 crazy Canadians Rocking out. For those about to rock next please 🙏 Great reaction and Peace out Steven ☮️ ✌️ 🙏BTW he's basically a hired guy who takes care of business for cheap 😉
For any who care, here is the original studio release (Australian) with the missing four measures that were edited out for American release. Long-forgotten (to the point of being considered non-existent), they do not add much to the song, but DID exist. th-cam.com/video/vZwLvpTeRTk/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AC%2FDC-Topic
Malcolm was the driving force behind AC/DC, Angus has always maintained that he is only the Third best axe player in the Young family behind Malcolm & George ( Guitar George as he has been called by Dire Straits) Countdown had the music on a backing track only vocals and the drums are live LMFAO
Bon Scott’s vocal twin is Marc Storace from the band Krokus. AC/DC first offered Marc the job after Bon passed away. Krokus was just taking off with a new album and lineup and he turned it down. Brian Johnson did a great job coming in, but he strains to sound somewhat like Bon. Listen to “Long Stick Goes Boom” by Krokus. Link below. You’ll hear it instantly. th-cam.com/video/dsYPCEIF4Bg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xqpBrk-JkcecZl7E
Yep hitman... or possibly more apt > "stand over" merchant or "fixer" sorta like Dennis Waterman's character Terry McCann in Brit show "Minder" (without the comedy angle)😎
Malcolm Mitchell Young was an Australian musician who was the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and a founding member of the hard rock band AC/DC. Except for a brief absence in 1988, he was a member of AC/DC from its inception in 1973 until retiring in 2014 for health reasons. Wikipedia Born: 6 January 1953, Glasgow, United Kingdom Died: 18 November 2017 (age 64 years), Sydney. On 26 September 2014, The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Young had been diagnosed with dementia and had been admitted to a nursing home where he could receive full-time care. A source close to Young was quoted in this article as saying that he had "complete loss of short-term memory".[27] Young's family confirmed four days later that he had dementia, saying that Young "is suffering from dementia and the family thanks you for respecting their privacy"
Sounds like the studio track minus the lead vocals, giving Bon Scott reign to be creative with the vocal. Maybe they were playing with the track??? This was common practice on TV shows. My ears don’t lie!!! Bon was the man.!!!! ❤️🔥🔥🔥🎸🤘✌️
AC/CD RULES 🤟🤘✌️💣TNT,PROBLEM CHILD IS A BANNER 😅 MAYBE YOU COULD CHECK THAT OUT ❤ (RIP) MALCOM AND BON: I STILL MISS THEM 😢 THANK YOU ❤LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND YOU, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS 😇🥰 YOU ROCK 💯🤘🤟✌️🦾🫶👏👊
Never seen this clip before. I have noticed that the only things that are actually "live" are Phil Rudd's drums and Bon's vocals. Everything else is the studio recording.

The video for It's a long way to the top is worth checking out.
It’s on the channel! A banger for sure! 🔥

Absolutely love this song. Bon Scott was the best singer for AC/DC.

This is the REAL AC/DC. The GREAT BON SCOTT!
When Bon was alive, he was the star of the band. He dripped charisma and had stage presence. With Brian, Angus was always front and center.
In fact, it was a two-star/two-frontmen band in the Bon Scott era - Bon and Angus took turns taking centre stage in a very fluid ballet (saw them in '79). And the audience was loving both so much! After Bon, it was more "Angus and the other four".
I like both AC/DC,singers but Bon like you said has charisma, a connection with the audience that was great!!!!
LOVE THEM!!! But, LOVE their video: It's A Long Way To The Top!! SO, SO GOOD!!!!

This is pure, dirty, badass rock´n roll. Can´t really be beaten! :)
The very Australian version is called "Dirty deeds done with sheep". :D

Good one man! I hope your taking Thanksgiving off. But the day before do Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant! It's a Thanksgiving staple.
You went back a ways for this one!
Throwing it back!! 🔥

That sounds so EPIC!! I’m jealous!
you have to check out Baby Please Don't go video
By this time AC/DC had played many dive bars. A girl rushing the stage wasn’t going to phase them.
If it wasn't for Bon Scott's parents AC/DC would have ended with Bon, instead they convinced the band to continue and even suggested Brian Johnson.
For any who care, here is the original studio release (Australian) with the missing four measures that were edited out for American release. Long-forgotten (to the point of being considered non-existent), they do not add much to the song, but DID exist.

Angus looks like a kid pretending to be a rock star. It's crazy how young they are here! 🤘
It's about a hitman, plain and simple

Steven, I don't see you rocking leopard spots. I think you're more of a zebra stripe kind of guy..... 😂
Haha 🤣
I always understood the song is about a hitman basically. Although said hitman seems to have had others talents for the ladies too. Lol

Imo, Bon Scott's voice was more natural and as forced. I'm a Bon fan for sure. I do love Back in Black though.
Do this during a Taylor Swift concert and her vocals won't stop ... 🤣
🤣😂🤣

Any song that was a Bon Scott era song should NEVER be in a reaction video with Brian Johnson. It’s sacrilegious. 🙂
