There are no words in any language capable of fully describing just how MASSIVE this band was from the mid-late 80s. They were more popular than oxygen
@@MrsColumbo823 I think I've seen one person react to it but nobody else will I've been trying to get someone to I hope that he does I don't have the money to pay for it to be a request
@@maruskaehrensdorfer it's definitely in the top five shows a lot of his vocal range and it's a love song to his wife a lot of people don't catch the lyrics to it they think he's cheating on his wife but he's not. I wish I had the money to put in a request for it but I don't
I will always love Jon Bon Jovi, not just because of his band and how talented he is. He is a good man that has helped so many unfortunate people. Habitat for humanity, opened up his own restaurant for the homeless and actually does the dishes in the back! He also opened up a restaurant on a college campus to help young people who can't afford to buy food while going to college. He is also a good father who talks about his kids lovingly. You can go on and on about the good this man has done. We need more people like this! Bed of Roses and Lay Your Hands On Me are also great songs.
Yay! Bon Jovi! This is one of my favs! Who am I lying to? They're all my favs! Love Jon Bon Jovi, his ideals, generosity & his family! He's just an all around great!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Those pants - he bought in a yard sale from one of the members of earth wind and fire. He talked about it when the video came when they played music on mtv. Yes I'm showing my age 😊
😂 ❤ 1 of my kids did the same thing with a number of songs. Have you ever heard Squirrels Squirrels Squirrels by Motley Crue? I died inside with laughter as he asked "why would anyone sing about Squirrels?" My answer... people sing about alkinds of crazy things now days. Son is now 28 and always a good laugh.
My daughter was probably about the same age when she asked me to play "Born wanna buy you"... I was like what?!! and then it dawned on me I was like do mean "Born on the Bayou"? and she goes "Yea!! thats the one!" It'll never be the same again.
Quick story about my experience with Bon Jovi. When they came to my town on this tour, Slippery when Wet, they had a phone interview scheduled that afternoon with the local radio station. Well, unbeknownst to me, my phone number happened to be one number off from the radio station. I'm at home, my phone rings, i answer and the voice on the line says, hey its Ritchie Sambora. I started laughing thinking one of my friends was playing a trick. He says, is this blah blah radio station? We have an interview before the show tonight. I didnt know what to say. He said hello? Hello? And i came to my senses. I told him it wasnt the radio station, and he apologized. Asked if i was coming to the show and I told him I had to work. He said maybe next time and we hung up. I've never forgotten that. I was 19 and a huge fan.
Love the new studio. They are in THE HOF and deservedly so! This epic song was a backdrop to our lives when we were dating in our early 20s pointing at the guys. I sang right a long with it. I am 60 now in NC but from NYC and they were some Rocking Jersey Boys. This was one of the concerts. You guys did it to us too.
I saw them when they were still an opening band. Came home told my buddies "Damn, wait til ya all here this new band" never thought 28 yrs later someone would be reacting to them and still floored they are still putting out new music. 🤙🤘🏼
Jon owns some restaurants in New Jersey called JBJ Soul Kitchen where people can pay whatever they can afford. Here in Philadelphia he has an apartment building that's very low rent and includes services to help with things like getting a job.
As a massive Bon Jovi fan I'm glad to see you starting to do some reactions. Having seen them live 48 times may I suggest you watch some live footage. Hyde Park, London 2003 was a great show.. the song Older in particular a fan favourite.. also Blood on Blood and Dry County.... Thank you and Enjoy the Bon Jovi Rabbit hole .. As a side note the band takes it's name from the front man... Real name Jon Francis Bon Giovi jnr Love this channel 💕❤️💕
This is one of my favorites from them. Love the video too. I believe this was shot at the height of their "prettiness"...so young and gorgeous. Sigh - the good old days.
"You Give Love A Bad Name" was my ringtone on my cell phone for many years. Every time my phone would ring, I got shot through the heart! 🤣 I made one request of my son when I die and that is to play Bon Jovi's "Thank You For Loving Me" because, to me, that is what means the most about living. 🤟❤
You would LOVE “ Blaze of Glory “ Jon wrote it for movie Young Guns. He sings & does video solo, but Ritchie is on guitar in the song. It’s a super song & video is awesome!!!
Great song, I remember this being played up and down all the Playlist and charts. Still great. Just so many bangers in Bon Jovis repertoire. And Jon is just a great human being, doing some great charity work without searching the spotlight.
You really need to react to Bon Jovi 1989 MTV Music Awards performance. This was the proving point that unplugged could be big. This performance was amazing, you get to see how great of a voice the lead guitar player has and it pretty much was confirmation that MTV Unplugged Series could be a hit
My grandma got me tickets to see Bon Jovi for his New Jersey tour (Skid Row opened for them). They were so AMAZINGLY AWESOME ❤ More Bon Jovi- Lay Your Hands On Me, Wild is the Wind, Bad Medicine, Living in Sin, I’ll be there for you, Born to be my Baby, Keep the Faith, Never say goodbye, etc. so many songs to choose from ❤
Bon Jovi is my favorite band. They have great love songs and lots of upbeat songs for fun try Bad Medicine, and One Wild Night. Love songs Living In Sin, I'll Be There For You, and You Want To Make A Memory. I could keep going they are a great band. Check out the soundtrack for Young Guns 2. It's some of Jon Bon Jovi solo stuff. He won a golden globe for it.
This is just another Bon Jovi "TURN IT UP" hit song! I used to see these guys during their "Club Days" around Philly and South Jersey, just before they had their big break. Then went to see them in full concert mode. They still just as amazing in concert as they were playing in the clubs and bars. And a great group of guys too! Having a blast doing what they really love.
$5 say he spent the rest of the day walking around going "nananana BAD NAME!" That is the Bon Jovi effect. It doesn't matter which song you hear, you spend the rest of the day with it stuck in your head.
Said it on many other comments. I went to more Bon Jovi concerts than any other bands during my high school years. My girlfriend, like every other high school girl at the time, was completely in love with Bon Jovi. She was going with or without me. All good, they put on a great show, he was a great fluffer and I had a good time too.
Bad Medicine- Bon Jovi. BP You Give Love … was their first USA music chart #1 and launched them into the stratosphere! Bad Medicine was another huge #1 hit by them. Love to see you react to it!
And that was 38 years ago. I remember that song coming out. Used to hear it in the car all the time as a teen in the late 80s cruise'n round our little town's loop. So long ago now.
I saw these guys in 1989 in St. Louis! What a show!!!! Jon was flying across the crowd, and the joints just kept rolling by....ah, the good old days! And we could walk right up the stage like you see in the video!
From their first BIG album “Slippery When Wet” I saw when they were touring this one-it was in Hershey PA ( the stadium along Hershey Park & Hershey Chocolate Factory “The sweetest place on earth”) there was a really tall tower in the middle of the field crowd & Jon flew over them on a zip line from the stage to that & did a guitar solo. It was a GREAT show!!
This song was in almost constant play everywhere. BTW, Jon Bon Jovi & his wife have been married since 1989 - that's gotta be some kind of record for a rock star!
Dude, I was 16 yrs old and working my first job at a pizza shop the summer this came out...80's, great time to be a teenager. Best era in the history of music
Bon Jovi’s name is a play on Jon’s family name BonGiovi. I saw BonJovi during their New Jersey tour at Joe Louis arena in Detroit twice and their opening act was Skid Row! The first time I was in standing room only floors and the second time I was off to the left of the stage in nose bleed seats. I took my neighbour’s 12 year old son to the concert with me and we stood on a stairway landing to watch the show best place ever to watch a show. Joe Louis is gone now but will hold those memories. They filmed part of the video for Bad Medicine in Detroit and I found my neighbour and I in the video. Jon’s pants were so tight it made you wonder how he got into them, they made skinny jeans look baggy.
Love For Sale is my favorite Bon Jovi Song, it's at the tale end of the New Jersey album if I remember correctly. It sounds like an after-the-show impromptu jam when everyone is a little tired and maybe had a beer to unwind. You feel like you're there and it's just the bluesy best.
Thx for the time travel BP..... You'd of loved that era..... Ah to be 20, no responsibilities and your whole life ahead of you again.... All good...! It was a time of great insouciance and levity. Thx BP
Living in sin, living on prayer, Always, I'll be there for you, bed of roses, wanted dead or alive, runaway, blaze of glory, it's my life, bad medicine...Bon Jovi was a hit making machine fir a looong time. Bon Jovi was MASSIVE and helped make some of the most memorable music ever and some of the mosi iconic love songs/ballads EVER. For over a decade Bon Jovi could do no wrong.
Watching this video for the first time on MTV one afternoon in the daily top 20 and got hooked it was on number 6 or something like that. Next week this video reached no. 1 and then Living on a Prayer entered on no. 17 , both songs in the top 20, Livin on a prayer reached no. 1 and stayed there for 14 straight weeks and that made MTV retire the video as retiring a sports player's Number. The rest is history . I watched them live for the first time on February 17th 1990 in Guadalajara Mexico, the 232nd and final show of the Jersey Syndicate Tour.
Bon Jovi, was and still is my favorite rock band. John Bon Jovi is still performing. You should check out his song with Jennifer Nettles... Who Says You can't go back home....
Not only is Bon Jovi in the Hall of Fame, but Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora (guitarist) are in the Songwriters Hall of Fame! Incredible songwriters and musicians! They were a Magical Duo!! I Love Bon Jovi!!
Bon Jovi... My favorite!! Any song he did on the blaze of Glory soundtrack is amazing!! And, no, you almost can't go wrong with bon Jovi. Also check out Bad Omens!! They just got nominated for rock band of the year by billboard
Dry County, live MTV unplugged duet with Richie, any good live of the audience singing every word, Always, all good choices. Dead or Alive shows the real grind of touring which they did for over 5 years non stop. Great song, great video.
Man when this came out, I can tell you how many car windows were shattered in pieces because you hear the windows vibrating so hard before you ever saw the vehicle rolling Up to the light!❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
That was fun! Thanks for brightening up my day there! Oh and yes...this was absolutely filmed at a real live concert. Now where is the one where he flys across the audience?
Its fun to watch. Now imagine living through this and we did not need to be at an actual concert to feel like we were at one when listening with our friends or even just rockin out alone in ones bedroom.
One of their most under rated songs in my opinion is track one from Slippery When Wet - Let it Rock Lay your hands on me, bed of roses as has been mentioned . . . If you want to get side tracked check out his solo album Destination Anywhere . . it was also a mini movie set to the album kinda like MJ's Moonwalker . . .
That concert was so good I ran out and bought a ticket to another city they were performing just a few weeks later! But that’s when you could afford to go to a concert multiple times! 😂
Their videos are great but them live is what is needed to truly appreciate the talent and atmosphere. I would suggest "Dry County" at Wembley in 1995. Can't wait for more. Thanks!
Whaaaaat!!!! WHAT!!! Jovi!!!! F***ING JOVI!!! This man a literal legend who aged like a petrified grape! Holy hell, who saw that coming! Man looks like Jamie Lee Curtis and The lesbian Aunt who never got married at the family reunion
There are no words in any language capable of fully describing just how MASSIVE this band was from the mid-late 80s. They were more popular than oxygen
Lol they were popular with girls only. Guys listened to Bon Jovi to get in girls pants only.
Like 1987 they were IT!
The GenX children were teens for this time. We were there.
This is the first Bon Jovi song I ever heard; I was an instant fan. Jon and Richie were so darn beautiful.
"Lay your hands on me" - Bon Jovi is another must listen
My favorite song of theirs!!!
Live London 95
Bed of roses always gets left off people's list and was one of their biggest hits
One of my favorites❤

It’s one of my most faves of theirs. I don’t think anyone’s reacted to it anywhere and that’s weird.

I did see his and Ritchies jackets from the following lp at the rock hall
The good old days of MTV when the "M" stood for "Music".
My daughter was around 5 and I loved the energy of this song. When she sang "You give love a bandaid " I never heard it the original way again!
Do you want more of the songs

"I'll Be There For You" is another great that gives a different vibe. "Keep the Faith" is another great one.
The first song I ever heard from Bon Jovi was Runaway In 1984 then he blew up with Livin on a Prayer
Both awesome. I have his songs on my daily playlist
In the UK the first hit we heard or maybe noticed was livin on a prayer.
I saw the video for Runaway before finding the rest of their music.
Yep! My first concert was Ratt and Bon Jovi. And Bon Jovi opened up for Ratt, that's how long ago it was!
Bad Name was released before Prayer.

Bon Jovi concerts were epic. It wasn’t just the great music it was the amazing energy they put into a live preformance.
They did an album called "This Left feels Right" which is an acoustic version of a lot of their classics. It's awesome!
Bon Jovi was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018

I'm curious if he did a movie review of the movie? It's one of my favorite Christmas movies.
I went to see this tour with Skid Row opening they were so awesome! I miss the 80s, such a great time to be alive.
Bon Jovi live back in the day was a glorious thing 🤘🔥❤
The advent of MTV led to all kinds of antics to entertain the masses and keep the video playing. Hair band to the max! Rock on…🤘
This song was in almost constant play everywhere. BTW, Jon Bon Jovi & his wife have been married since 1989 - that's gotta be some kind of record for a rock star!
Hasn't Alice cooper been married for a long time?
What about Ozzy and Sharon?
Roger Daltrey married his 2nd wife, Heather Taylor, in 1971.
Heather Taylor is the "Foxy Lady" that Jimi Hendrix wrote about :)

I was in high school in the 80s. Some of the music is timeless!
If you haven't, you have to react to their song called "Always". One of the best ballads ever
The band name, Bon Jovi, is derived from Jon's actual last name, Bongiovi.
This is why we loved them. Classic. :)
This was my ERA, actually was at this concert. Loved Jon Bon Jovi and he was the best looking guy on stage anywhere. I swore I was gonna marry him lol
This song was a huge hit.

I saw them during the slippery when wet tour!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I still have my collection of Bon Jovi i had on my wall back then!!!
Love Bon Jovi!! 😁👍✌️
His soundtrack album from Young Guns 2 is fantastic. Blaze of Glory and Santa Fe are my two faves
"Wanted Dead or Alive" is about the touring life. And it's amazing.
Brings back memories of my 1st concert my dad took me to. My dad was just there for the ladies lol. Amazing times
So many memories and feelings come with this song
LOVE Bon Jovi ❤❤❤❤ he's Gorgeous ❤❤❤❤😂

Bon Jovi, was and still is my favorite rock band. John Bon Jovi is still performing. You should check out his song with Jennifer Nettles... Who Says You can't go back home....

Your "A Christmas Story" lamp in the background in your new studio totally cracked me up!
I can imagine those Bon Jovi dudes also gave love a very bad name back in their prime time. With all of the 'backstage' passes given for 'free'
Idk if anyone said it, but great setup, darker purple lighter pillows my duuudeee killed this! Loooksss soooooo goood!
Bon Jovi has some of the best power ballads out there. You really should check some of those out to get the “total” Bon Jovi experience.
One of my favorites! Love the imagery of the words
With Christmas right around the corner...... we gotta get a reaction to "You're a mean one, Mr Grinch by Small Town Titans"
There is an unplugged video with Ritchie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi which shows both guitar skills and both singing. Worth seeing.
They always looked like they were having so much fun. I loved their videos back in the day.
I love their videos. They look like they're having so much fun!
Always live at Wembley 1995. Bon Jovi at its best!
I had to look after Bon Jovi when they came to Liverpool and show them Beatles places the first time they played here in the 80s.
My favorite band ever. You should try out Bed of Roses and his duet with Jennifer Nettles called Who Says You Can’t Go Home. Both fantastic songs
Dry County, live MTV unplugged duet with Richie, any good live of the audience singing every word, Always, all good choices.
Dead or Alive shows the real grind of touring which they did for over 5 years non stop. Great song, great video.

Your new studio looks good. And the major award decoration is great (and I'm not referring to the TH-cam plaque)
Interesting studio! Will take time to get used to .
Bon Jovi is certainly great! Have fun!
Their videos are great but them live is what is needed to truly appreciate the talent and atmosphere. I would suggest "Dry County" at Wembley in 1995. Can't wait for more. Thanks!
Love all there music great band
MTV played this about every 30 minutes back in the day it seemed.
That Lamp reminds me of the lamp in the movie "A Christmas Story" lol
Another great reaction!! 💯💯🔥🔥
Bon Jovi still kills to this day! Listen to their older music! I’ve yet to find a song of theirs I don’t love!
