      Shenley Park is amazing, it has everything from family trails to hiking trails. It's a peacful & beautiful park.

    I used to run upper panther trail into bridle trail in a loop just to train (20 years ago). I used to love those trails.

      The trails are still beautiful. They are a great for walking, Running, cycling, or just relaxing.

    We also had a wooden dog on wheels he made for us. Christmas toys were reused every year they are put away into the attic then brought out again to play with. My favorite was the red flyer wagon. We also had skates.

    I even remember roofing the house and working on the plumbing with my father his favorite tool was his flash light his favorite magazine the Sears wish book and National Geographic

    I got to play pool with my grandfather he knew billiards but I played pool. He let us kids use the cue sticks he taught me algebra and geometry

    I was taught to be unselfish and to share I was taught to take things slowly. I was taught to be thankful and living I was taught that my grandfather watched over me from above. He was a wise man the wisest I ever met. He would show me the owls at night. He had a radio it was made of wood and had a curved arch we would stay up nights listening to HG Wells the mystery theater. He loved to watch football. He and my grandfather Wilson were responsible fir bringing the NFL to Canton.

    He made a game out of golf golf tees. You would rearrange the pegs and jump over them it was a triangle.

    I remember the oaks were the tallest trees I ever saw and dad said the red wood in California were larger I did get to see a red wood dad said would wooden it be great if I could someday plant a tree that I could never sit under??? I said what he said yes it’s for your great grand children I said great idea.

    My grandmother was from Austria my grandfather too but his father signed the Declaration of Independence his step father was Jewish they went to Squirrel Hill. My family took me swimming

    Grandpa they tried to rebuild the pro football hall of fame but they did not know how. The old stadium needed rebuilt. They were arguing over whether to pray or fly the flag. They made a mess of things.
