I read that as "eleven fourths" in the manual too while trying to adjust mine, but I couldn't reconcile how they were calling that 450° (11/4 is 990°). It's actually "one and one quarter" turn...they're just missing a space or dash to indicate 1 1/4.
Beware, the motor end of mine filled up with water and corroded out the dc connections to the motor, resoldered and it worked, the simrad is miles better than the raymarine though!
Thanks second time ive watched this video. My first simrad tp10 started to make a odd niose and the company replaced my unit with a new one.
thanks for watching

is the calibration process the same if the autopilot isn't connected to the GPS?

i don't think so, but it would be good to have internal compass set for your area

WaterfrontVacations1 Good thinking. Have you looked into the cost yet?
Urban Deployment for a self contained unit it is around $1,800 to 2,100 well over my budget at this time.
I wish i had other options then the tp20.... What a shity tiller pilot
i am happy with mine
@@VagabondEpicurean i calibrated it and i can't make it keep the course... It's like way too slow and it almost doesn't work?
@@martinlorentzen4731 sorry to hear this, have you talked to Simrad support?
