Got mine for about 1 week, and i really recommend this keyboard, for a newbie keyboard enthusiast it has it all, no mods required. Got a Keychron K2 and i modded that one and its not even near as good as this one. Great content also
OMGG you finally mad the mod video for the akko pc75b plus YES! I just ordered mine too so this is perfect timing! Love all your videos and literally you were the deciding factor in getting this keyboard. Peace and love
and this is the reason why we love you, you still customize a keyboard that its already good to make it even better. honestly i wanted to try to get another keyboard but i already have the gmmk pro. if i wanna customize another keyboard id get this and do the same thing but change the switches cause i love akko cs silver or black
I was able to get one from a first-owner friend, and had it modified from another friend. And finally, It sounded way better now, including my CS Wine Red switches. They are now freakingly awesome! :)
Sorry, but I noticed when you put the keyboard back together after modding and leaving the switch on the “win” option (therefore turning it on), when you forced it back together to close it, all the rgb’s went off. Seems like it had maybe burnt out a component or two. Can you still switch the RGB lights on? Don’t see it being on after that mod. A mistake I too, have made many times.
The default option for pressing the knob in makes it so you can change from volume control to brightness control but i would like to reprogram what the knob press does, in the akko cloud software it doesnt let you redefine what the knob press does. Any one know how to change it?
Would you recommend this board over a GMMK pro, or Keychron Q1? I know it has a better value given it comes with caps and switches but just wondering if the metal cases and build of the other boards are worth the more premium price. I left the mod 007 out as it is basically never in stock.
i really like their stack mount without have to screw a bunch screws into the bottom case ,but hopefully they can release some screw in stabs pcb and VIA support, that would be perfect
Hey. Thanks for upload - it's a great video I love my PC 75b plus (b&s, black switch) and will mod in the future. If I may point one thing I didn't like in the video - the fast editing...It's hard to watch.
hey CTR! been loving ur latest videos, especially akko products that im looking into. could u review akko’s acr pro 68 next? it looks like a great in-stock budget pre built thats sparked my interest :)
I just got mine recently, and I'm having trouble taking the knob off! My dad also tried taking it off but he also couldn't. Is there anything I have to do to remove it? I'm planning to mod the keeb and change the knob itself to a custom one.
I had the same problem but I used a hard plastic that would fit under the aluminum knob and kinda slowly pried It off. You gotta be careful that the cover won't get dented (mine did a lil cause I kinda forced it up 😅) but eventually I got it out
@@Seias. yeah but.... Why did he like not take it apart again to test out how it would sound with only one layer? And then do a side by side comparison in the video?
Can you do a review and modding of Akko 3084b Plus? I had my eyes on it for weeks now but I wanted to see at least a review of it. Can't seem to find a review of it, even unboxing.
Copped this and can't wait to get cracking on the mods. Question though, is there another alternative to tape modding as it seems ghetto. I know you can't see it but I was thinking about adding car sound deadener as a better solution?
Can you replace the volume knob on these? The only one in stock right now has a gold one, which looks nice. But one that matches the case color may look better with different key caps.
Was waiting for your video and you made it so fast. I've never mod any boards before and being wanting to mod this PC76B Plus but afraid to mess things up. Thanks for the guide and instructions.
yeah i want to change the keycaps possibly the switches but like.. I basically wanted this exact keyboard, with a usb dongle and a knob and 75% LOL, there's not a lot around and this one is somehow more affordable than the ones that dont come with keycaps and switches. if there was a keyboard just like this without it built already, I would get that though but as far as I know I dont think there is one
Can you please recommend keyboard for Indian audience i waana get techware or Akko but not available on Amazon and idk how much custom i need to pay if i get it from Banggod so please help
i have to ask something i bought the akko pc75b plus and i want to mod it a litle but i don't know if the tape mod is safe and it won't take fire or something ?
yo did anyone have a problem is after modding it the turn button start having problem when i turn it the lighting stop for a moment but my sound didnt go down or up
Hello CTR i wanted to ask about a keyboard called the fantech maxfit61 its a budget board that cost 30$ its hotswap and usb c i wonder if its worth it or is there some other board i should choose?
I'm having the hardest choice in my life. Should I get a barbone custom and make it sound amazing tho it will break the wallet or should I buy the Pc75b plus and make it also sound good. Though I am worried if I can make it sound pingy or thocky or whatever. I'm also worried about the stabilizers and if they are bad, can I erase the rattle with some mods. Please reply to me because I'm having a hard time right now.
I’m building my first keyboard. Can’t decide between rk61, keychron Q1, gk68, tm680 and now this one. Can anyone with experience with them give me comparison info. Also any other recommendations on the budget end? Very much appreciated!
Keychron C1 is trash and not worth the money so you can skip it. RK61 is still a decent keyboard but eventually you will have to mod it to the core, that's mean you will have to dump all it stock switches, keycaps and stabilizers for a new better one. TM680 is also a good keyboard but it's very hollow due to the quality of the case.
just buy akko, you would be very happy with the keycaps and will end up spending less than buying something like the rk where should should mod everything
Such careless modding. The way you placed 3-4 layers of extremely badly cut foam, not even lined up, and just scrunched it under the plate cover is just insane

I wish I saw this before I ordered a k2.

I was able to get one from a first-owner friend, and had it modified from another friend. And finally, It sounded way better now, including my CS Wine Red switches. They are now freakingly awesome! :)
Another mod you should do is to put electrical tape on the rim around the plate, it really helps with the sound. CGBuild does it in his video.
Just received one of this and this guide is gold for me!! Thank you so much!

Would like to know about this also, I noticed the rgb went crazy when you pushed it down back in place.
🤔🤔🤔
Just picked up the blue and white version and besides some minor issues this keeb is amazing
I got it for my friend as a project. Ordered with Akko jelly silver switch - sounds amazing! Thank you for your advice)))
I was waiting for this man! Keep it up!
The ULTIMATE lego keyboard XD
Let's goooo finally!!!!!!
The jump cuts every 4 seconds is really annoying, please cut it back a little... my eyes will thank you! :)

I clicked on the UK link, looks like this keyboard is no longer available in the UK 😢Such a shame, it looks beautiful.
Drop now has colourway DCX keycaps available for pre-order.
Apart from jelly silvers, are the jelly pinks good for gaming

I tried the mod but I probably messed up. The keys did not work after. I think the pe foam is blocking the pins of the switch
Just a little tip for ya: you're only supposed use one layer of PE foam.
he knows but as he said he wanted to try 3 to see what happens

Are akkos stabs good? Or Do you recommend buying the asceny stabs to replace the akkos? Idk if i should spend an extra 20 for same performance
shouldn't we do electrical tape with the tape mod?

how do you remove the knob so easily. ive been pulling so hard and it doesnt come off
Copped this and can't wait to get cracking on the mods. Question though, is there another alternative to tape modding as it seems ghetto. I know you can't see it but I was thinking about adding car sound deadener as a better solution?
It's not ghetto, just use masking tape so it's easy to remove
Why do I want to see/hear what a keyboard would sound like if someone used an anti static bag to see if that would help the sound.
What IS more good this keyboard or RK84 with full mod 130$ ??
nice video!
the puffy things are supposed to be used as built in stabilizer pads
I am planning to buy this, but they released a V2 of this keyboard, anybody knows the difference between them ? Which one should I choose

Hey, is the know replaceable on this board? It looks like you could take out the top part but not the entire knob?
This or k8 pro? How does this wireless connection fare?
this if you don't care about south facing pcb, k8 pro if you do
What's the difference between this and the feker ik75 tho, i mean this is much expensive no?
Would lubing the jelly pink switches make them even more smoother and lighter?

Lighter? Not that much, the differences is about 2% max :D.
