I really want to see him try the NYT crosswords, some of them are quite a bit harder.

why? that's what a caret is? ^ it's an indicator that something is to be inserted
my problems with crosswords are things like "belly up to the bar" which as far as I'm concerned has never once been said by a human being before in the history of spoken language
is it just me? the crossword "you press any button" sfx is like 100 times louder today? i can't hear nl at all if i turn it down low enough to make the clicking tolerable
