I'm so used to mods, when I saw a Demon Lord's turn ended without his second attack, I jumped. And I like how in chapter 6 the Incubus stands before the Baroness as if saying to Asteroth: nuh-uh, you shall not pass.
I didn't know the rod planters were able to get 3rd and 4th levels of leadership perk. I've wanted to play through with the archangel and now I'll give it a go. Thanks.
@@akojulius3777 Do you have a guide or anything? I am not good at these sorts of games... actually just had to cheat or start over the mission against Asteroth..
@@davidburnett5049 The only guide... lots of saves and loads. I had to cheat too. To eliminate all the enemies to get max level from the respective maps... otherwise i would have wasted a lot of time.
@@akojulius3777 I see. That makes me feel a bit better, actually. The timed missions especially are quite difficult imo. I'm gonna try a run the Empire. A healing hero isn't too bad. Not as good as the maxed out healer unit, certainly, but should be somewhat useful.
The worst part about playing as a rod hero is that the AI focuses its spells on your hero all the time if you come close to any of their resources. It's very annoying since the AI usually gathers up over 9000 mana by the end of a mission so you can safely expect to get bombarded with spells every turn. You can try and use decoy rod heroes as sacrifices or hurry up and stomp their capital just so they can leave you alone to do your mission in peace.
That is why i consider a TBS/RPG like King's Bounty to be not only the father of this genre but the best ever made. It's a shame they ruined it with KB2 at least in my opinion. In those games you have the freedom to do whatever you want without worrying that some thief will steal your resources. The only thing KB needed where more mythological creatures like Hydra, Manticore, Medusa, Harpy, etc... just like in HOM&M series. They butchered these series anyway. God knows when or if we will get a new KB or a HOM&M 8.
@@Fernoll Not if you have the option to choose the difficulty of the neutral enemies in that saga or quests. Like for example: units have levels between 10-15, 15-20, 20-25, 25-30 and so on. Wait... no one implemented this option. :(
@@L10Garcia I played the game on 800x600. I can't change the resolution because it goes on slow mo on win10. There are some problems with the game on win10.

This game is such a gem.
Only way they could ever make it better would be keeping Patrick Lambert's art.
... and cumulative experience, let you export an entire party not only the heroes... and fix some bugs.

I disagree. Exporting a high level party will allow you to steamroll entire levels. That would make for a very dull experience.
