I vote for the " FRANKEN LANE GASSER ". 455 CI to replace the origional 221 CI or 260 CI optional engine, would certainly launch this down the track. Nice find. Reallly clean body. I wouldn't paint it, I like the hand prints on the right rear quarter. Now if you act fast I bet that you can sign a lease for the new construction going on across the street and use it for a new shop! How convenient would that be! 😮 Looking forward to the videos on this project. Have fun guys!
Fairlane make cool gasser and they don't need bumper , no need to finish upholstery keeping weight and price low , powered by the 455 a 4 speed and you get yourself a Gasser to have fun with for cheap
That is certainly another option to consider. And you are the second person to say that. I think the only other expense may be upgrading the 8 in. rearend to a 9 in. The 455 might apply a little more torque than the stock diff can manage.
I don't think that box under the dash is for air conditioning. It looks a Rotunda Ford accessory tissue box holder. I found one like that in a junkyard.

Nice attention to detail! We would love to take over that shop! We love the idea of the 455 also!
Wow. I mean wow.
You will need a bigger place? Lol
